On the plus side, location and cost. However, I would honestly pay another 5-10 Euros for somewhere else. Low point of the evening came when I half-woke to some woman howling on the corridor with some guy shouting at her 'so you think you can take me on'..., next day I found 22 bites all over me. No sign of a mosquito, I don't normally get bitten so I'm guessing something in the bed... Trust me, my expectations weren't too high, but this place casts a shadow over the rest of your Athens visit. Avoid

Let's be quite clear about this. This is NOT a hotel - it is nothing more than a youth hostel, and a very bad one at that. Ask yourself why there is an artist impression and not a proper photo on their website? Because this place is the absolute pits that's why and if anyone saw a real photo they wouldn't even contemplate staying there. The place is nothing but a joke. I recently stayed at the Alma Hotel, and don't give it a high recommendation. The price I paid, about $40 was very reasonable, but there are some problems. The room was clean, and quiet, and air conditioned and small cable t.v., but the bed was old and shabby furnishings. The staff of the hotel were very rude and of no help or assistance. The elevator is not worth waiting for, better to walk up six or seven flights of stairs, even in the heat. The breakfast included was AWFUL.
