" Nice hotel but not the best choice for people not speaking German "

Despite the information contained on the hotel's website, personnel (including, the owner of the hotel) does not speak English (actually, they do not speak any foreign languages). The menu, all booklets about the hotel (incl. price-lists), and other materials distributed in the hotel are in German. This makes the stay in the hotel quite uncomfortable for people not speaking German and may lead to certain unpleasant miscommunications. Thus, at the checkout hotel owner requested that we paid additional money for our accomodation despite the fact that our accomodation was fully paid one month in advance which can not be defined other than cheating clients. It is a pity, because the hotel is very good (nice location, good food). However, having experienced the abovesaid, we will not return to this hotel again.

" The hotel is clean and... "

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is also close to the ski slopes, which are very family friendly. A grocery store is about 800 meters away; pubs are located further away in the center of town. Hotel service is extremely poor for a 4 star hotel. There is literally no hotel reception (or greeting of guests) despite the picture shown here.

Hotel personnel ignored our internet confirmation and changed our booking dates; despite many telephone confirmations and verbal agreements, the hotel conveniently forgot those agreements upon arrival. Also, hotel personnel were not able to prepare a final bill of services, as they were unable to determine how much of the bill had already been paid.
