Almina Hotel

We stayed two nights at the hotel, which is conviniently located close to the Sultanamet and major attractions (Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace, Grand Bazar). The staff was very kind. Breakfast is served on the top floor that has terrace with a wonderful view over the Bosforus. The only problem we found is that the train passes very close and if you stay in one of the rooms in the first floor, it could be very noisy (even though it stops from 12 pm to 6 am). we were in istanbul in August for 9 days/ before our trip i looked for hotels by net , almina hotel pleased to me most of all. everything seems beautiful from photo, but when we find it in real it was as pleasant as looked in photo. personal is quite polite here/ very tidy rooms and nice landscape from verenda specially in the night / exotic azan voice from sultanahment/ To cut a long story short I advice almina hotel for everyone

We have just returned from 3 nights in Istanbul, stayed at the Almina Hotel in Sultanahmet. Lovely small hotel, beautifully decorated, comfy beds and excellent value for money. Large rooms, bathroom small but stylish and perfectly acceptable, the power shower is great. It has only been open 7 months so everything is still fresh and new. Breakfast is very nice, usual continental style, cold meats, cheeses, olives, salad, fresh bread, juices, cereals, coffee and tea. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to visitors to Istanbul. The staff were always keen to help and very friendly. There is a tram line running close to the hotel but this wasn't really a problem. Although you could hear the trams while you were awake they never woke either of us up whilst asleep. Very helpful English speaking front desk staff, they kindly gave us breakfast and then let us hang out on the lovely rooftop terrace overlooking the Bosphoros (I think......) while they prepared our room as we had turned up two hours early (NB: they were also very accommodating about us checking out late). My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Almina hotel... The rooms were super clean and brand new. The staff was overly helpful -- Nesrin at the front desk made sure all our reservations were taken care of and offered to point out areas of interest.. . Mr. Aziz was ever helpful in showing us around the hotel lending a hand with our bags.... Halil at the breakfast bar was a super help -- He helped with finding an ideal location on the roof top terrace (b'fast is served one floor down, but you can carry you plates up to the roof). Fabulous new hotel, although a bit hidden (away from the noise), very near Sultanahmet square. Very helpful and friendly staff, seemed always happy to assist us. We loved the very modern and comfortable terrace with panoramic view of the sea: a perfect spot to have breakfast (which by the way we loved too). Clean/beautiful rooms. 100% Recommendable.

I stayed at Almina hotel with my wife and 2 children for 5 nights. The hotel is newly opened and is exellent with beautifull rooms. The breakfast was very good and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. We enjoyed our stay at Almina and would recomend this hotel to everyone. The hotel has steam, sauna and turkish bath, tv and internet. There are restaurants and cafes nearby and the hotel is located about 5 minute walk from the blue mosque.

This building has very recently been converted into the Almina Hotel. The rooms are tastefully modern and extremely comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is within easy walking distance of most of the major attractions of Istanbul. But best of all are the staff - nothing is too much trouble and they all go out of their way to make your stay memorable and perfect. I strongly recommend the Almina Hotel.
