The hotel is small and friendly. Breakfast is served on the roof top dining room and is typically Turkish. The open buffet breakfast provides an excellent choice and all the usual Turkish delights are included such as fresh honey, local breads and homemade borek (pastries). Coffees, Teas, soft drinks are provided all day free of charge along with delicious home baking.
The staff are attentative, friendly and very helpful. Airport transfers to and from the hotel can be arranged.
The rooms are authentically furbished in Ottoman style with four poster beds and although small are adequate for a City Break.
The taxi rank close to the hotel offers taxis at reasonable prices and the drivers are very willing to show you the sights.
Trams operate from the Main Street in Sultan Ahmet Area leading down to Eminonu which is excellent for shopping although beware of pick pockets!
Definitely an unforgettable place to visit and to return time and time again.
