Just have returned from one week stay in Los Jameos Playa. Management staff and food excellant.Entertainment good. Cleanliness excellant . On arrival we were treated to bottle of champayne and two small red wines with fruit what a surprise. Plenty of sun beds at the pool. Recommend this hotel to my friends.

Fantasic Hotel, this is our second visit the the Los Jameos Playa and both visits exceeded our expectations. Staff are pleasant at all times and excellent with our two young children. Entertainment for the kids is good without being to much. Food out of this world (we all ate to much) but it is very hard not to. A different choice of food every evening but always something for everyone. Pool and grounds of the hotel are keep very clean and tidy. We decided this year to try a fully inclusive holiday, but were a bit apprehensive - as I am a very finicky eater. I needn't have worried. The Food was excellent, lots to choose from. Hotel was superb, very friendly staff and extremely clean. It was great to have a heated swimming pool - which I think is very unusual in the canaries. This was our 4th visit to Lanzarote and we will certainly be booking this hotel again. more

We decided to book and stay at The Jameos Playa based on reviews, no children this time, all comments and views completely accurate. The staff were fantastic always saying hello and enquiring how our stay was so far. The waiting staff were excellent, the food was full on buffet style. In the morning the inside part of the restaurant served continental style breakfast, while outside you could get anything from toast to a full monty style feast. We stayed at this hotel for the half term holiday and it was our second visit. The hotel is in a quite location but just a short taxi ride into Puerto del Carmen if you want it. The hotel is next to a very safe and quite beach and has only two entrances of which one has a security swipe card which makes the resort secure for children to wonder around the place and for us to know they are safe in the complex. We have just arrived home after two weeks in Los Jameos Playa and we feel that it is not as good as it was this time last year.The poor weather didn't help but there were little economies that didn't make sense. This is a hotel that provides lavish buffets for breakfast and dinner but never replenished the soap,shower cap,shampoo.tissues,etc.in our bedroom in two weeks.We were invited to a champagne reception and instructed by the assistant director to let management know if we had any complaints.When I mentioned the above she said that... more

Visited the hotel a few years ago in December, and really enjoyed it. Awesome lobby, great rooms, professional service and lots and lots of food in the restaurant. Loved the grilled meat and fish every night, and tried about everything of the international buffets (gained about 5 kilos in one week...). Take a walk to the harbour of Puerto del Carmen to discover the restaurants and taste the paella(s) and grilled squid (it's a long walk, but it's worth it...). more

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel and it was as good as the first time. They even did something with the suggestion I made (they started a library)... The food is great ; I'm not always a great fan of buffets but the chef(s) are very good : the asian buffet is not just some rice with curry, but real japanese en chinese food.
