stayed at la era in september 2010 with husband and two children aged 6 and 4. rooms clean, 2 ring hob fridge and toaster provided in room for cooking. pool area good childrens section of pool. only downside is poolside snacks only pizzas and baguettes available but there is a great bar called la bamba just down the road for snacks or meals and the breakfasts are excellent. hotel is also popular with stag and hens and some people might be put off as can get rowdy but didnt bother us. hotel in good location close to old down and only a 10 min walk to cafe benidorm would definitely return to la era great value for money

Was concerned after reading some of the reviews but we had no problems at all. Stayed 5 nights. Room was on 11th floor, great views across Benidorm. Basic, clean accomodation, fresh towels, changed twice. Reception staff friendly and helpful, ordering taxis etc. Well worth the money.

Stayed at La Era park from 6th-13th April 2010. If you can stand heights get a room from floor 15 upwards for stunning views across Benidorm. This is a functional apartment block, its clean, conveniently located just on the edge of the old town and three streets away from the noise which means a decent nights sleep. Its clean and good value for money, the pool is smallish but typical size of the pools in Benidorm. Rooms are basic with a twin bedroom and a seperate lounge with additional sleeping space. Balconies are huge and probably the second largest space in the apartment. Nearest supermarket is 100 yards away. Would be happy to return here. 7.5/10

Stayed at the La Era Park 17th September 2009 for twelve nights. Found apartments clean and well equipped. The balconies overlook the sea and get loads of sunshine. Each room has a television, which costs three euro fifty per day for remote. The building was in the process of being renovated from the upper floors working their way down but there was little to no disruption to guests. During our stay we always had clean towels and bedding was changed twice. There was no shortage of hot water and always plenty of toilet tissue. All staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. There is a nice pool area with bar although this area is looking a little tired and in need of updating. The building is situated perfectly for access to both old and new Benidorm. There is a large beautifully kept palm-lined park just around the corner as well as a large supermarket and plenty of small friendly bars. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in future.

1.Staff very helpful and friendly.
2.Accomadation very clean and tidy pleasantly surprized considering the cost.
3.Not far from local bars 5 min Stagger at end of night.
4.Balcony height could be a little higher (if taking children with you)
5.Finally and most important the beer is cheap.
6.Ideal place to stay for lads or girls weekend.

i thought la era park was really nice! we stayed for one week - the rooms were clean, the pool was clean. room got cleaned every two days! the staff were friendly as well. it is suitable for family's also.
the hotel is in a good place as well, it's about a 5 minute walk to the beach, and to the big supermarket, and a 15 minute walk to the good bars.
the barman makes a great sangria, you have to try it.
the only downside is that it doesn't have air con, but you can rent a fan if you can't handle it :)

la era park .... ok where do you start room was basic (but you pay for what you get) its not 5 star but you know that when you book stayed 1 week but we were away for 3 days 2 nights in javea which was great cause would have hated to stay in the room for 7 days room cleaned only once towels changed once the loo roll seems to be an issue with this hotel 3 of us 1 loo roll. Benidorm was surrounded by places for eating, but for those times when you just want to stayat the hotel- the menu was very basic.
We tried to make our holiday as much of an enjoyable experience as possible, but wouldn't reccomend Benidorm or La Era Park.

just come back from la era park . me my husband and 2 children one disabled in a wheelchair. was put on the 12th floor and it was horendous especially for children, the balcony was not high enough for children, i asked if i can move to a lower floor they told me to pay 20 euros and they changed me the next day, the door was hanging off the cupboard coming away from the wall, it was not clean i left the room cleaner when i left, there was no air conditioning and we payed 22 euros for a fan which was not that good, i had to ask to have the towels changed ,our beds where not changed all holiday, staff where not that friendly, the pool was nice though , there was no entertainment in the hotel and you have to pay 3.50 euro per day to watch the tv and then you only have 2 english channels. the only time your electric would work in the room is when you put your key in the slot so when you leave your room your fridge is off which is not good when you want to chill drinks etc. i did not cook anything in the room the plates etc where dirty. but there was a lovely british bar called labamba just down the road from the hotel that was amazing i highly recommend it.i would not go there again . i would not recommend this hotel to any one with children its very noisy it has cockroaches and is on a hill so if you have walking difficulties it is difficult. the weather was nice though but did not like the resort or the hotel not recommended for people with children.
