Hotel Los Globos

I can not say enough about los globos. First of all the staff are wonderful. You can tell the owner LOVES what he does! You can tell all the staff love working there. that makes a huge difference. The rooms while more basic are clean, bright and very nice. For the pice you pay here you are not going to get the Calipolis. They are nice rooms lots of storage, the balconies are nice. The bathrooms are nice....nothing to complain about with this property. the terrace is beutuful and the bar with happy hour is a great... more

We loved the Globos on the website but were dissapointed when we got there, It could do with a makeover rooms were a bit shabby, it was cold at night. The chap on the desk was lovely all the the staff were pleasant. We have been to Sitge a few times and we love it, sadly we wont be staying at the Globos again.MCB.

We have stayed at the Los Globos on 6 occasions over 5 years. Gradually the facilities have improved, and the staff, especially Carine, are always friendly. This place is perfect if you want to get a good nights sleep, and only 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. Although not on the prominade (one street back), one can hear the lapping of the waves at night from certain rooms. The breakfast is nice and the terrace very pleasant. We have been to Sitges several times over the past few years and have yet to find a great hotel. While this hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from the center of town, we never minded the walk along the boardwalk along the beach (the hotel is about a block from the beach). The benefits of Los Globos is that it's much quietier than the hotels in the center; we were able to sleep in here without ever hearing the clanks of glasses or people on the street. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a nice atmosphere. Some things should be improved to justify the price for a room (EUR 95 during high season). Our room on the ground floor had a little terrace but it needs some gardening work done (plants). It is very nice to be able to have breakfast until 11:30h but the quality of the food and the drinks (including coffee, tea and juice) was very poor. Los Globos was a fabulous place for relaxing and holidays...very well located, close to the beach and also very close to the dowtown where you find all the bars and restaurants. The staff was very friendly, room very clean and with nice view, breakfast buffet was perfect ( you find all you need! ) and served till 11h30 am wich is very important when you have fun late in the night!Nice terrace to have a special cocktail! I will recommend that place to all my friends.

My partner and I spent our "honeymoon" at this charming hotel and were absolutely delighted with the experience. Philippe and Carine made us feel very welcome and we loved the whole ambience of the place - the terrace was a welcome oasis of calm compared to the manic town centre and we spent most of our early evenings sipping very generous gin and tonics there!The rooms were larger than we had been expecting and were kept scrupulously clean by the very efficient staff - towels were also changed every day. While the people who work at this hotel may be the kindest of our almost 3 week European vacation, the room and location were nightmares. We were scheduled to stay 4 nights and stayed 2. First, if you’re a gay man/couple, you want to stay as close as possible to the heart of the action if you’re looking for fun. While they may say that it is a 10 minute walk to the action, it is at least 15 minimum. Now, let’s get real! When it’s 4AM, and you are having fun on vacation, who wants to walk 15 minutes back to your hotel?... more

The hotel is 15 minutes walk from the centre of Sitges in a lush green residential area. And about 2 minutes to the promenade/beaches. Staff are friendly and hospitable. Rooms are clean but basic. Breakfast is very very basic so don't expect much! Best room is 23 as you can see the sea - well a bit of it !

Hotel Los Globos is a charming small hotel near the beach in Sitges. Each guest is made to feel part of a family and everything is done to make your stay a perfect one. All the staff are special. The rooms are spacious with balconies or a little garden area and some have sea views. Breakfast is served on the sunny terrace and while there is no restaurant, the centre of Sitges is only a five minute walk down the beautifully wide beach promenade. I would definitely go back to Los Globos and would recommend it to anybody.
