Eurostars Das Artes Hotel

I stayed in June 06 for four nights in a single room. The rooms are modern and a good size with nice bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. It was a proper double room not a stinky hole by the boiler room! The bar / lounge and terrace are comfortable, if a little small, but are stylishly decorated. Myself and my wife booked into this hotel for four nights in mid July. The hotel decor was impeccable, the rooms were modern and comfortable, and at 65 Euro a night for the romantic package, it was a price that could not be beaten. The hotel is located a good 10 minute walk (downhill) from the riverside and the center of the nightlife, with a taxi back costing no more than 4 Euro. 2 of us stayed at the hotel in May after finding reviews about the hotel. Apparently it is a new hotel and so unsurprisingly all the facilities in the hotel were in good shape. The rooms were stylishly decorated and probably the most aesthetically pleasing of all the hotels i've ever stayed at. There were a couple of problems with our stay. My family (53, 53, 23, 20) booked 2 rooms here for the last 2 nights of our Spain/Portugal trip. Following 2 stays at some quesionable hotels recommended on this website, I was starting to wonder if the TripAdvisor reviews could be trusted. But the reviews on this property were clearly on the money. Nice convenient location, modern clean rooms, excellent bathrooms, friendly staff. We parked our car in the protected courtyard. OK, so the view out of our room was only fair-to-good. Still, a great value. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in the hotel for the first night of our holidys in portugal. I booked a romantic stecial with fresh fruits and wine in the room on bookings.com for only 65euros p.night inc.breakfast. The hotel is well located and it takes u a 10 minutes walk to the center. The stuff was very friendly. We stayed at this luxury hotel for 3 nights based on the reviews we read. The staff were friendly and courteous the hotel was beautiful and rooms spacious and quiet. We paid £109.00 in total to include breakfast with lastminute.com. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage until our room was ready. We spent five nights at the Eurostars Das Artes in late May-early June. There is not much we can add to the positive reviews that others have posted about this hotel – we basically agree with what everyone else has said! We booked directly from their Web site and paid 63€ for the three weekday nights and 54€ for the two weekend nights. Parking is still 6€ per day. Breakfast wasn't included; we just bought some yogurt, fruit and fresh bread locally for an average cost of 1,25€ including the excellent coffee we drank at the bakery.... more

We stayed at the Eurostars Das Artes hotel for 3 nights in May and thought it was fantastic. The hotel is very new and modern, the rooms are spacious, clean and really confortable. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. We paid €53 a night and believe that this is an absolute bargin. We came to this hotel after staying at the hotel Tuela at rotunda da Boavista. Eurostars is a little farther out of the way as far as visiting the sites and catching buses, but the hotel is so amazing that it is totally worth it. Amazingly clean, total european design, best breakfast we had in Portugal, and good service too. It was refreshing to walk into the hotel at night with it being so nice and high class, because walking the moderately dirty portuguese streets plus humidity really tires you out.
