my partner and i just arrived back from a weeks stay at the halley apartments. the apartment itself was very basic but clean all the same, we had asked for a high up floor which we got (considering it was easter) as we had heard that it can be abit noisy at night, but it is benidorm afterall but it wasnt as noisy as we though infact the only noise to wake me up was the sound thunder on the first night. i would however advise you to take a travel kettle with you as 1 isnt provided and maybe a fan as there is no a/c in the room and it can be quite warm at night. if you have walking difficulties i would advise you to get a room on the ground floor as we hired a wheelchair for the week and found it hard to get into the lift, you can hire a wheelchair for around 20 euros + deposit from amigo 24, it is advisable to hire a wheelchair or mobility scooter as benidorm is a big place with a few steep hills infact going to the hotel there is a small inclimb but its not that bad, the beds have got to be some of the most comfortable i have slept on. for going out i would recommend the gallowgate bar for food and drink they do a brilliant scottish breakfast (and was the only place i could find black pudding). if you are only wanting a snack there is a kfc at the bottom of the corner. the hotel is situated in a place where everything you need is close by so you dont really need to walk anywhere. the guys on reception are brilliant and friendly so dont be afraid to ask for anything. i will be returing to benidorm and will be staying here again, it might not be luxury but all you need is comfort and this place it brilliant

probably the best holiday ive been to. 4 lads stayed in a two bedroom apartment. clean, not too small. people and staff were nice, helpful. This apartment is really for the younger crowd. not too far from the beach, great food places all round, everything you need is right there. 10min walk to the "great british square" the best clubs in europe. Beachcomber, Bahamas and many many more. i reccomend this holiday to guys/girls aged between 16 and 24, garunteed to have the best time of your life! =) x

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Halley Apartments. Firstly let me say we have been coming here for several years, mostly 4 times a year and have always loved it. We always ask for the same room on top floor, and have been delighted
management have mostly been able to accomodate us. This holiday has been a massive disappointment, and we will never return again. The first thing being the room needs a lot of attention, mostly the bathroom, but it just needs mentioning. Our main complaint is the terrible disgraceful noise, foul language and the rabble of dreadful youths and girls etc. that the Halley are encouraging to spend 2-3 days at a time, The last night we were there 27th June 2008, was so frightening we were woken up at 3 am in the morning with some youths standing in our lounge drunk and disorderley, we have no idea how they got there, smoking and laughing, we asked the night porter if he had given these "drunks" the pass key, he couldn't speak english, so we don't know now how they got in our room. Anyway, we think you have made a terrible mistake in letting these young people come for short periods, it's up to you what you do with your building, but we will not come again, and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Although at night the mozies did bite (my fault) i found this apt block to be very good the staff were very friendly and helpful, i took my son and daughter-in-law with me, there is a good hotel bar with happy hour (2 4 1) stunning!!, good sized pool for adults abd the little ones, the rooms are of a good size and are clean and tidy, the bathroom was clean and had the towels changed every 3 days (also bedding), the beds were very comfortable, i only had one minor complaint no one explained that you had to pay a deposit for room key (60 euros refundable, also rent for key to safe, and a hire charge for the tv remote, as tv does not work without it) the monies paid (which i did not mind paying) were very low, in all i would not hesitate in staying at the Halley Apartments again, hopefully in 2009 with my granddaughter and grandson, 8 out of 10 not bad.

Having read reviews I was a bit worried as to what we would find. We could not find fault with our accommodation, it was a lot bigger a lot better equipped than we thought it would be.
The situation of the Halley apartments is excellent for the beach and you are about five minutes from all the night life.
There was no restaurant but you could eat your own food around the pool. The staff were always available if you needed them. We would definitely stay there again.

We arrived on Saturday 23rd June and stayed for 1 week.
The Apartments are in a quiet area, but with quite a few eating places around. We liked the Stretford End (Manchester United fans!), lovely basic food and run by very friendly people.
Our studio apartment was spotlessly clean, with the towels being changed three times during our weeks stay.
The Apartments have a nice pool with plenty of sunbeds available.
Benidorm itself, the beach is beautiful, but there are a lack of public toilets anywhere in the town, if you need the loo you must buy a drink in a bar, only customers can use the loos!

Arrived last week to an absolute shambles.
The reception area was a building site, workmen everywhere, wires hanging from the ceiling, dust and debris littering the floor.
We arrived with our ten month old baby so we were not at all impressed.
Room we were given was filthy with no fridge, I mean no fridge and we were staying self catering.
We ended up moving ourselves to accommodation elsewhere as staff and manager so unhelpful.
Thankfully hotel we are now in is excellent, Hotel Nereo, but we are now out of pocket.
Definitely do not recommend Halley apartments to anyone.

I would not recommended this to anyone, we paid for a two bed apartment, on arrival it was not ready so me my husband and 3 children had to split up for the first night!
Terrible lifts, dirty pool and poolside area, snack shop shut down, full of young Spanish single people, loud all day and all night, please, please do not take your family there, it was a terrible experience, and we couldn’t wait to go home, I highly recommend Benidorm resort but not the Halley, please beware and stay away.
Rooms ok but very, very basic, and windows are unsafe too for children, broken handles on cupboards too.
Even if it was free I would not go there.

On arrival at the hotel we booked in for our 2 rooms and was promptly asked for 2x60 euro deposits for the keys !! (a big chunk of spending money gone if you didn’t know about it-like us).friendly on reception but little English spoken. Gave us the keys and left us to it !!
Got up to our rooms, which were basic but alright. Kids bedroom had a window that fully opened with no guard-and we was on the 9th floor !!! - not ideal for younger children. Our apartment had 2 adults and 2 kids in but we had to sleep on sofa bed even though there was 2 single and 1 double bed in because 2nd bedroom locked !! Only unlocked if full 6 people occupy the room. Only supplied 2 thin blankets for us, which I’m sure, were single size !! Heating came on at 6.30 every night though so was still warm enough. TV is also charged extra.
Swimming pool was open in Feb. And very clean but was filled up straight from a hosepipe with cold water !! Braved it once !!
Excellent view from the balconies and in a quietish area but still close to the nightlife. Had problem with electric and shower but sorted straight away.2 lifts that worked ok.
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would consider going back to it in the future and wouldn’t want to put you off going which is why I give it 8/10 but try and get a cheap deal. It’s not a luxury hotel-just a cheap place to recover from the night before !!

arrived at the halley on the 28 of august as a family,it was lovely from the monday untill friday, thats when all the drunks turn up. we could,nt get near the pool not that we wanted to because the swearing was from the gutter, not to mention grown men coughing there lungs up and spitting it the pool, glass and bottles and litter surrounded them.we had to take our grand-daughter out for four days to avoid teenagers and adults who were there for one thing beer and more beer and to stay drunk the whole time and abuse anybody and everybody.the only good point is that the staff are great and will do anything they can for you,it not there fault the manager will let stag party,s drunks, and any other yob stay at the halley.
