we have stayed at the "club" three times and have always found it to be everything a holiday should be.
although catering for the "older" generation,the younger set are welcomed with open arms,funchal has everything a holidaymaker could desire,need anything,just ask!
maybe not for the high spirited but just a fantastic,relaxing,get home and tell eveybody about it holiday,.... but then thinking about it dont tell eveyone how great it is or they will all want too come here!!!
