Just back from staying in these apartments, and do not have a complaint about them at all. It looks as though they are in the process of refurbishing all the apartments and ours was spotless. A comfy couch, and comfy beds. Cooking equipment, TV, and a huge balcony. The... more

these apartments are o'k' for people who are just looking for a room to sleep and get washed and eat in. not really suitable for small children due to the stairs and old fashioned style lifts and dark corridors but perfect for young people in there 20's. Bit of a treck to... more

Ok it’s a bit of a basic dump but you have a balcony, a bed and a pool - you get what you pay for! If you want the Ritz get your hands in your pockets and pay that little bit more. A holiday is what you make it and ours was 24 lads on a stag part,y which was a great 5 day... more

My husband and I had a lovely week at the don salava apartments in June 2006. After reading the bad reviews about these apartments, we were pleasantly surprised with them. Although they were very basic, we found the kitchen was well equipped and the location was excellent. ... more

If zero was an option the Don Salva apartments would not be worthy of it! Abandoned on the opposite side of the road in the pitch black at 4am by our so called Thomson rep we were left to cross the busy street with our bags and find our own way. If it wasn't for a guest... more

Been to Benidorm many times. This is the second worst apartments we've stayed in. We had a good holiday, but Don Salva is very poor by Benidorm standards. Cleaning. Over the 2 week period, the maids changed the beds twice and 3 times threw clean towels in. We were given... more

I went here thinking it was going to be a dump after reading some reviews. I found the apartments very spacious and clean. Ours towels got changed once in the week and you do have to take your rubbish down to the bins provided, but black sacks are provided. I agree that... more

Abslolute Tip, I'd rather stay in a cave
Arrived here in the dead of night to wait over an hour in the street to check in as the reception is so small and disorganised. We were given room 1D. You don't ever want that one. Floors were extremely slippery, the place was not clean at all and the towels were more like cleaning rags. Kitchen itself was clean as were all the bits with it, although we decided to go all inclusive at another hotel. Bathroom and all areas needed cleaning. Towels were replaced every 4 days and the bedsheets once a week, so they were not changed while... more
Excellent Hotel, Great value for money in superb location
This hotel was absolutely fantastic. Me and my five mates went here and we had a great time. We had 3 1 bedroom apartment with two to each room as they did not charge any under occupancy supplements. From used to working in the travel agents you normally pay more but not with these. So if 4 of you are going then book 2 rooms as it will be same price. Hotel rooms were excellent, very clean and very spacious. Our room also had a large balcony with a pool view. I have been to magalluf, tenerife, gran canaria, solou and this is the best hotel i... more
Terrible
well when me and my husband arrived we just thought we were put in a hellhole the floors were very slippy, there was cockroaches in the kitchen area and there was no entertainment wot so ever i would never come bak here and i dont recommend it for families.
No Probs !
Just returned from Don Salva, it was absolutely fine! Worried before going as had heard not good reviews, we were placed on the 14th floor but due to a friends nerves requested a change and was given the 1st floor immediately, the staff were helpful and pleasant. The apartment itself was fine, 3 of us in here, and enough space for all, the balcony was huge and all the facilities were satisfactory. We did receive a towel change but not clean sheets. There is some shade around the pool but only a small part and there is plenty of space for... more
grubby
On the first day my husband had to wash all the floors in the appt as they were very slippy. We had to ask for clean towels and only saw cleaners on the day we were leaving. The pool area would also have improved with the tiles being vashed now and again. Very unhappy with the standard of this accommodation. more
I was very happy here
I have just returned home from staying at Don Salva and enjoyed my stay here very much.I thought the size of the room was good for a couple but may be a tight squeeze for a family.I don`t think it would matter were u stay in Costa Blanca as the sirens from ambulance and police r very loud and would wake u no matter were u was.I also found the apartments very clean and would certainly go back to them. more
utter pish
Hi fellow holidaymakers! Just a quick word on the aforementioned aparts.,...if you've booked already, try asking for a refund? We(fam of 3)asked for a quiet hol, out of the biz/noise etc., and ended up in the hottest (no air con), loudest (sited above the polis station and on the main crossroads in/out of town)oh, and with the locals adding to the mellee, we just couldnt wait to get home. And its deffo not in my top ten of clean aparts (unless you count the roaches in the kitchen as sanitation advisers). No-one on site seems to have or... more
superb apartments
I booked these apartments through bedbank and was very impressed. They are a bit noisy as they are near a main road but the standard is very good. The were spotless when we arrived. About a 10 min walk from centre/beach. I would recommend them to young people that dont mind the noise! more
RUBBISH
I thought that the apartments were really bad. They are not air conditioned and you have to pay 3 euro a day for a fan. if that were the only thing that would be ok however the some of the staff were not very friendly. And if you afraid of lifts it is not the best the place to go. when the lifts go up and down you can here a nose which i think is the lift hitting the wall. My sister and brother were also stuck in the lift for 45mins. My dad went to the bar man and he did want to pay any interest to him. The prices in the place i think are... more
Men in Uniform!!
Went here three years ago. It is a little bit of a hike to the main resort but don't let that put you off. The only word of caution is that the hotel is built next to the main Police Station (Full State Police not the Tourist Ones) and the sirens can wake you up on occassions. Also, the police use the cafe in the hotel for their afternoon 'tapas breaks' so if you are disconcerted by the thought of enjoying a beer with men in uniform sporting sub machine guns then beware! At least you should be safe from petty criminals! more
