Went for a long weekend with Angela Holidays to the Bembridge Coast Hotel on the Isle of Wight.
Travelled down from Ipswich to Southampton on the worst day in January, high winds, heavy rain etc but got there ok and stayed overnight with friends.
The coast pick up was dead on time, and Angela Holidays ran a first class efficient service and we had no complaints whatsoever.
Bembridge Coast Hotel was extremely clean with white fluffy towels in the bathroom, plenty of storage space and was in fact better than some 4 star hotels we've stayed at in Spain.
The food was excellent with plenty of choice and as children aren't permitted in the hotel, it is ideal for couples who want a child free holiday.
The entertainment by the staff was very good and Angela Holidays had also provided afternoon entertainment.
I would certainly use Angela Holidays again but I would also go back to Bembridge with our own car, so we could see more of the island.

We stayed at Bembridge in the middle of April and had 3 days of sunny weather, although the coastal wind blew quite coldly during our first day.
We were using the hotel as a convenient base to explore the Island, as this was our first visit. The countryside was very pleasant and we were pleased to see the red squirrels at Robin's Hill.
We also enjoyed a visit to the grounds of Osborne House with its views of the Solent and walk to the Swiss Cottage. A little gem on the other side of the island, near Freshwater is Afton Park, a first class cafe and farm shop set in a 6 acre meadow with mown paths and a nursery, no admission charge and gorgeous cakes.
We were disappointed to find the Mottistone Manor gardens were closed but found a nearby footpath through a small bluebell wood on a hillside beside the gardens.
The food at the hotel was rather variable but plentiful and the service was friendly and usually quick.
The bedrooms were clean and well appointed but the public areas were rather noisy and often crowded.
The gardens were attractive even this early in the year with some sheltered spots and great views of the passing ships.
