Express By Holiday Inn Bath Hotel

This is an excellent hotel within a 10 minute walk of downtown Bath. The rooms are comfortable and modern and the price is exceedingly reasonable for the location. The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful.

This hotel totally messed up the group booking for our wedding. I guess they might be capable of organising a booking for one or two rooms, and i cant complain about the room itself other than it being noisy, but when it comes to a group booking they are completely incapable. I also know of two other people whose group bookings they have messed up. Avoid if you are trying to find some group accommodation in Bath. There are plenty of other hotels!

Just had a short break in Bath with the family, 2 adults and 2 kids, 2 nights at this hotel. The family room is small but more than adequate for our requirements. Parked the car on arrival and didn't use it at all during our stay, as the hotel is situate a short walk from the centre of town. Our booking included breakfast which was self-service buffet of a very high standard. Room was spotlessly clean. Very good rates too and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

It's a basic hotel but we enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 3 nights just before the Easter week-end 07. The rooms are very snug and with four of us (mom, dad and two pre-teens), it was a tight squeeze once the sofa bed was unfolded - glad we didn't have too much luggage. We asked for a quiet room and the one we got overlooked the school yard and cemetery rather than the street - nice and quiet. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We asked for a quiet room and they found us a room at the back away from the road. Comfortable, basic hotel at a sensible price. The room was large enough, but not luxurious and everything worked as it should. Breakfast was fine, included in the price It's situated close to the centre of Bath, not far from Sainsbury's. It's far easier to walk into the city as parking in the centre is a nightmare. The hotel has its own free parking - a real bonus. Would happily stay there again.

This hotel was everything I was expecting from a Holiday Inn express. It was clean and fairly roomy. The service was great and the location was walking distance to all the sights I wanted to see in Bath. This hotel was also reasonably priced for the budget traveller. I would definitely stay here again and reccommend this place to others.

This hotel is just what you expect from the chain. Simple and basic good value for money with helpful staff. Unfortunately it is a bit of a walk from the centre, and as Bath is a very hilly place this could be a problem for some people. We got cabs back as we couldn't face it after a days sightseeing.

This hotel is new and very clean. The staff were helpfull and breakfast was adequate. They have a microwave, cutlery and crockery downstairs for guests to use who go out and buy take out or ready made meals. There is a really good indian restaurant over the road (a bit pricey but it was nice). They also had free parking. Try to get a room away from the road as it can get a bit noisy.

Bath is a busy place any time of year. Tried half a dozen BB's then gave up. Really wanted three nights but could only get two. Staff very pleasant and our room was clean and was a reasonable size for two. Pay per view movies were a bonus though not cheap. Always enjoy the free breakfast at EXp by Hol Inn. Within walking distance of the town. Large supermarket just across the road. Very helpful directions available to local out of town attractions. We spent one night in this hotel while visiting Bath and have no problems recommending it. Modern hotel, quaint lounge and always love the FREE breakfast that you get with a HI Express. No worries walking to the Town Centre with Grocery store nearby for some snacks. No hesistation recommending.
