Comments:  Hi I have just come back from this hotel and i thought it was much much better than a 3 star!!!!
The food was brilliant, there was a lot of choice and it was absoloutley delicious!!!!
The only problem about it was the reception and the rest of the staff!!
They were far too slow at reception and at the bar they only served adults they ignored the children who wanted serving!!!

The pools were clean but the only thing about the pool is that the lifeguard wouldn't allow floats and we complained but they didn't do anything about it!!
Floats are supposed to be safety for children.

There is plenty of entertainment aswell for the kids.
There is Kids Clubs and there is a different shows everynight in the bar!!!
There is some good bars and restraunts outside the hotel aswell!!!

I would definatly go again because I had a really good time!!!!!!

Comments:  After reading mixed reviews for Club Eurocalas I was a little apprehensive about going (especially because I am very picky and we'd never been on an all inclusive holiday before). I felt even worse on the transfer from the airport as the other hotels people were being dropped off at looked like they hadn't been cleaned or painted in the best part of a decade!! Then we arrived at Club Eurocalas and immediately it stood out as being immaculately clean and exceptionally well maintained. In fact they are obsessed with cleaning and there's a constant army of people sweeping and mopping all the time as well as groundsmen repainting paths and making sure the grounds are constantly pristine.

The rooms were a bit small but very clean and we were bought plenty of clean towels. The only slight thing was that there was only really storage for one person's clothes but this is a very, very small gripe!!

On an adult level, the entertainment was dreadful and cheesy but our children (aged 10 & 8) loved it and we didn't mind as there's plenty of space to escape in the areas near the bar.

The food was excellent too - it was fresh and there was plenty of it and a wide variety. Yes, there was chips and sausage etc but there was also two big salad bars and lots of fresh fruit plus different meat, fish and a type of paella every day. Breakfast was very good but they never had any tea... I did feel fed up of eating after a week though!!

In short, Club Eurocalas is excellent value. It was so much more than we had expected from 3 star. It was excellent for 10 days but we felt a fortnight would be a bit monotonous as you are a long way away from anything else. I would definitely go back (but next time I would take some teabags)!!

Comments:  We have just come back from our holiday staying in the Eurocalas Hotel. Before we went we read other peoples reviews and were a little apprehensive to say the least, but for no reason, it was BRILLIANT! We travelled with our 3 kids aged 11, 14 & 17 and they loved it. Ok so the entertainment is aimed more at little ones, but there is plenty for kids and adults to do during the day. In the evening the entertainment is typical holiday entertainment but good fun. The hotel is big but it is very clean, the rooms are lovely and the food is great. There is so much choice at every meal time. If you can't find something you like to eat then you must be very difficult to please! Yes the food is very European, but then so are the people going there! So come on you Brits, be brave and try something different for a change! or failing that there is always meat and chips!!

The pools are fantastic, cleaned every day and great fun. There is a lifeguard on duty all day so you know the kids are being watched. The poolside snack bar was great, you can eat all day if you like (burgers, sausages, chips, salads & fruit) and drink as well. Beer and soft drinks by the pool or pop around to the bar for something a little stronger! The kids can get ice cream and ice pops all day as well.

It is the first time we have been to an All Inclusive holiday and we will definately do it again. We have a fantastic time and the weather was GREAT!!

Comments:  WHAT A FANTASTIC HOLIDAY!!!
I travelled to the hotel eurocalas with my family, not knowing much about the hotel or the location. We flew with RyanAir, had no problems with the flights or transfers to the hotel at all. However the hotel is about an hour from the airport which is a little long when your hot and tired! On arrival our rooms where ready straight away, plenty big enough and very clean. The hotel itself was spotless all of the time, with cleaners on duty all day every day!!
As we were staying on the all - inclusive board for the first time we were all a little worried about what food there would be, but when entering the restaurant we knew there wouldnt be a problem. There was a wide variety of food every night, with something to meet everyones needs. I think any longer than a week it may have got abit boaring.
The best part of the hotel for me had to be the swimming pool! It was cleaned every morning, with plenty of sunbeds scattered around, we never had any trouble getting one! There is 3 seperate pools all at different depths and warmths.
As an overal for our first time in calle de mallorca, we were all completly impressed with the area and deffinatly the hotel!! I would reckommed the Hotel Eurocalas to anyone wanting a relaxing, enjoyable, fun, family holiday!!! You wont be dissappointed!!

Comments:  Been back nearly a week from Eurocalas, must say myself, my son 15 and daughter 11 had a fantastic time, did not want to come home. Very big complex, with 1 huge pool and other pools, very clean. No complaints with the food, lots of different variety, breakfast was great. Snack bar was ok but very convenient if you did not want to come out of the sun! Room a little small 2 single beds and a 1 sofa bed, that was the room! found out through a few people they had a studio and there was only 2 of them, so may enquire when you check in. Rooms very clean, bed linen and towels changed nearly every day. Beach lovely, the furthest one away which you can catch a train outside the hotel at a cost, you could walk, takes about 15 minutes.

I would definately go back, one further thing to add, the transfer time from airport is not 40 minutes, more like 2 hours!

Comments:  Just fantastic, faultless, brilliant !!! I will have to disagree with some of the critics with bad reviews, firstly we found there to be a majority of spanish and an equal ratio of german, dutch and english.Staff were all polite. Food was fantastic!!!! We were a party of 4 adults and 3 children ages 4, 6 and 10 with not a single complaint from any of us. The entertainment wasnt brilliant but the kids loved it and we laughed at night, to be honest if your with the right group of people its what you make it. The entertainment staff tried there best, worked bloody hard and didnt deserve souch bad reviews. If you want english run entertainment go with english run operators and hotels that specify that sort of entertainment. The hotel was clean and the rooms were fab. We stayed in the mallorca block and had clean towels every day bar saterday we went to all sittings breakfast, lunch and dinner and was never left hungry. The deserts/puddings were absolutly fantastic !!! one night there were at least 5 different flavoured blamonche including coconut god it was to die for, jelly's, pastries, cakes, flans and rice puddings to name just a few aswell as ice cream and icepops for the kids. The breakfast catered for every nationality known to man. We were all inclusive and was able to always get a drink and always get to every counter for food. 100 % Recomended and will defenatly go again. All 4 pools were cleaned every morning, yes you do need to get a towel out early for a sun bed but were dont you to be honest !! But there is plenty of sunbeds and chairs and always room around one of the pools. If you find this holiday on the internet or teletex grab a bargain you will definatly get your money worth, we did !

Comments:  just returned last night from a week here at eurocalas.
before i went away i saw mixed comments.
i went away with my boyfriend & his family.
the only problem we had was on the first night, the rooms wasnt next to each other as requested. but the following morning it was sorted. the staff were friendly, not ignorent or anything like that. it is a very big complex and there are things to do during the day and night. it was my first time all inclusive, & i'd deffinatly do it again, especially at eurocalas. the food & drinks were great. the snack bar isnt anything too special, so dont know why people are making it sound bad. because the restuant opens anyway throughout the day. to be honest the snackbar is more or less repeated but it didnt bother me at all. the food was nice, so thats all really that mattered.
overall, i really enjoyed the holiday itself & being in these apartments. i definatly want to go back, 100%. its great.

Comments:  Just returned from my holiday yesterday, I was there with my mum, dad and 11 year old son.

My elderly father and mother were given a fantastic room on the ground from fully equipped with wetroom and disabled facilities. My room was on the first floor and easily accessed via stairs and lift, both were very clean and had air con.

The food was fabulous- a good variety each night (freshly cooked and served by the chef) - along with the usual salads, snacks etc - very nice indeed. The drinks etc were available on tap..

The entertainment was ok, but this hotel is mainly a family hotel therefore your usual kids club and discos etc were available. However, the local bars etc were a short walk away.

Very nice hotel and the staff were exceptional (especially when we lost dad)....

Comments:  We just back from a 2wk stay here...we are a family of 5, 2 adults and a 6,5 and 4yr old, we booked 5 wks before hand so bit last min, i had no idea of what the hotel would be like so i came on here to see what people thought well i was sooo sooo nervous!!!!

I had no need to be, hotel was clean and plenty of facilities, our kids were never bored..there was a kids club 11am to 12.15 then at 3pm till 4.45pm. our kids only went few times as so much other stuff going on...the reps are all fantasic so friendly and great with the kiddies. we found the food fine, we never went hungry infact we all put on few pounds!!! it was not the kind of food we would normaly eat but it was nice and plenty of variety. the staff worked really hard, only thing i did not like is they would take your plate when you had finished eatin even when others had not i found that a bit rude. there was also a snak bar we only eat from there a few times but everyones kids loved it!! real kids junk!! there was self service drinks machines in there which was nice not to have to keep going to bar. we had no problems getting drinks at night, staff worked really hard. we never got up to put towels on sunbeds we always got one and we did not go to pool till 10am!! but we were never in same place we met alot of people who found sunbeds they liked 1st day and stayed in that place for the whole of there hols and they did get up at 7, 8 am...we liked to change what pool we went to. The hotel is full of germans, spanish, dutch and english which was nice to have a real mixture of people, and probably why such a mixture of food.
the town was nice not a long walk we went down a fair bit kids liked going down at night to play mini golf, or go on rides in this little fair. we also spent few days at beach it was lovely just gets very, very busy..so go in morning!

well just wanting to let people know if your like me and booked last min and only got this to go by, relax and look forward to your hol!!
at the end of the day, a holiday is what you make it!..your always going to find things to moan about..but on holiday moaning should be banned!! your with the people you love, you have lovely hot weather, a pool and free booze!!! what more could you ask for!
we had a lovely holiday we paid a very good price and it was well worth every penny!
would we go back again?..probably not, just because we like to go to some where different each yr...well have fun!

Comments:  Just arrived back for a week at the euro calas. Me (19) and my grandma (62) went all inclusive for a restful week. The hotel itself is beautiful, the grounds are well looked after and the rooms were extremly clean. The towels were changed on a regular basis and the sheets were changed just the once. Reading other reviews people have complained that the sheets werent changed enough but honestly how often do they change their own bed sheets at home. The food was lovely with a wide variety to suit everyone. If there was nothing that you fancied at dinner time you could just go to the snack bar which was open from 10-6 serving burgers, chips.soft drinks, water and lager. The meal times were also very reasonable breakfast was served from 8-10.30, dinner from 1-3.30 and tea from 7-9.30. The staff at the hotel were very nice and the reception staff all spoke clear english. However bar staff are not as good as i ordered a gin and tonic and a vodka sun cocktail and got 3 gins and tonics with vodka in one of those. One main problem is the toilets which you may end up getting locked in as even though you may not lock them they automatically lock when you shut the door. The entertainment was a bit rubbish the staff did shows that no one could understand what they were ment to be or what they were doing. However on one night there were 3 soul singers on that were brilliant for both my age and anyone else. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel to take you to where ever. The beach and shops are quite a walk but you could get the little train bus which will take you and drop you off. There was loads of things for kids do while the family stayed by the pool. I would definatly recommend this hotel and I would definatly go back for longer.

Comments:  We got back last week from this holiday. I'm sorry to say that it was the worst holiday we have ever had. We are not usually moaners, and really do put up with quite a bit before becoming upset, but Club Eurocalas really was bad.

The main reasons were the food and the entertainment plus the bar staff. The majority of people at this resort are German, and therefore we think the food is made to their preference. Anyway, it was awful. Most days we managed with salad and cold meats and cheese, but some days even that was bad. There was generally no vegetables offered, and when there were it was peas and carrots smothered in bits of fatty bacon or onions. The main meals were the worst with grisly fatty meat, or some sort of fish in awful watery sauces. We had to queue up or fight for fried eggs or omelletes in the morning otherwise we could eat really grisly spicy sausages and fatty bits of bacon dripping in fat.

The bar staff were downright rude and arrogant, and after queing at the bar for ten minutes they usually got the order wrong then complained to us for not speaking spanish or german!

The entertainment was all for the children, and even after 10pm. it was childish and only suitable for kids or people who act like kids.

The only saving grace was the weather, which was brilliant, and the swimming pools. However, getting a sunbed was another matter. If you want one you have to get up at 6 a.m. and put a towel on it, that is if you can beat the germans to it. We sat on chairs round the pool the whole time we were there, the Germans even leave their towels on the sunbeds overnight!!!

WONT BE GOING BACK HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Comments:  This hotel was excellent. Much more than we had expected. It had just been extensively refurbished and was looking lovely. The pool areas were imaqulate and were cleaned every morning. Only thing....if your wanting a sun lounger you have got to be prepared to be out there before 7am. The grounds were kept lovely and there was always a gardener pottering about somewhere. Food was lovely, always a good selection, although it could be repetative. Towels were changed 3 times during our one week stay so that was good. Evening entertainment was brilliant, aimed for children mainly but brilliant none the less. Entertainment finished at 10.45 which was a bit of a shame but the bar didnt close till 11.45pm. There was another bar which opened till 12pm - 3am but that wasnt all inclusive. The nearest beach is about a 5 minutes walk but be prepared to walk down lots of stairs. Not ideal if you have a buggie, which we found out. Beach was lovely although the sea was full of rocks. There is another beach which was just a beautiful. There is a train/bus that comes every hour at the stop outside the hotel and is only 3.50 euro per adult return. Definately worth using as it is quite a walk away. If you are wanting to use a cash machine be prepared for a bit of a walk as there wasnt one on site. All in all we had a fantastic time, weather was excellent all week and hotel was brilliant. Would definately recommend it. Ideal for famillies and older couples.

Comments:  My family and I (2 adults & 2 kids) have just returned from spending 10 days at the Club Eurocalas hotel in Majorca.

I could not recommend this complex highly enough. The food was absolutely delicious and of a high quality -you could not beat the choice available at all meal times. The apartments and hotel were exceptionally clean and the daytime entertainment programme was brilliant - something for everyone if you wanted to get involved.

My only disappointment was the evening entertainment. It is done every night (apart from Sunday) by the animation team. Whilst they provide excellent daytime entertainment, the evening programme is of poor quality in our opinion. On Sunday evening when we arrived, they had a fantastic group on but the rest of the week it wasn't worth watching.

That aside, it would not stop me returning to the Eurocalas as we had a brilliant time.

Comments:  Just got back from Club Euro Callas Majorca, had a nice holiday, and this Hotel is a "typical" 3 star property.
The room was very nice and spacious with nice furniture (in mallorca Block) but the air conditioning did'nt ever get cool and we had it on full, if you open the windows or doors it turns off so keep them closed,we were still hot at night. Room was only made up twice in one week, so we had to make our own beds rest of time, and sheets were not changed at all.I asked at reception and this is hotel policy.

This hotel is not used by the main high street tour operators like Thomas Cook and First Choice etc so you dont have the back up of a rep.

There was a fridge and cooking rings in the kitchenette but no cooking utensils or kettle or pans at all, just two glasses in cupboard, so this might be a problem if you want to cook anything. There was a microwave but without plates or cutlery etc it would be difficult to use.

We did have to get up at 6am (not exaggerating) to put towels on our sunbeds (as everyone else did) or otherwise we wouldnt get any and be forced to sit on chairs or on floor all day. Apart from the lack of enough sunbeds the pools were lovely.
There was a hotel shop but its quite expensive but approximately 15 minutes walk to tourist shops and 20 mins to beach.

The entertainment was great for kids and younger families etc, mini disco every night, but only two professional shows each week, other nights were quiz, bingo and shows by the on site entertainment team, they were quite funny though! You do have to get your seats early as there are not enough for everyone, we had to be there by eight at the latest, so it was a rush to get our evening meal first.
The bar does get busy at times and you are only allowed 3 drinks at a time, the bar staff were very busy!!

Food was typical for any three star i've ever stayed in,we didnt go hungry, restaurant was nice and clean, there were some strange dishes including pigs trotters, cuttlefish and rabbit but all were labelled so you know what youre eating, there was a salad bar, a chef grilling pork chops etc but you do have to queue up for these, all drinks in restaurant are self service, wine, beer and soft drinks. The pool snack bar was ok serving burgers and chips etc all day long, and self service beer and soft drinks.

All in all we did have a nice holiday with good weather and as it was a last minute booking we did get it quite cheap so got what we paid for.
Hope this was helpfull
