i think this hotel is an amzing place for a family holiday overall i think it is a very nice place to go and i have been there 3 times befor and we have booked to go on anoher one for 2008.
the pools were big enough and deep enough for all ages there are two main pools and
a pool for young children
the food is lovely nice pizza and soup and other options every night,
the rooms were cleaned daily by the maids and very very friendly.
the entertainment during the day and the evening is brilliant gets you really envolved so there is always something to do nomater what the weather is like
i would deffinatly say this would be the perfect hotel for people out there who are ready for fun or even just relaxing this is the hotel

My boyfriend and I went at the beginning of October, crossing our fingers that the weather would hold out and stay sunny. Unfortunately for us it did not which meant we were rather stuck in our hotel room for the majority of the hotel. The room stank of tobacco when we first arrived and didn't clear the whole time we were there (neither of us smoke). Room was basic but big enough.
Main problems were that the food was really repetitive and not very nice. The entertainment wasn't that great either so we ended up going out every night to a bar down teh road. Hotel was well located - short stroll from the beach and resort centre.
I think had the weather been better then everything wouldn't have mattered so much as would have been free to wander around more by the pool and beach, which were both lovely. Being cooped up in the smelly room for a week while it pours down outside was not what we'd expected!

Just got back from a week at the Club Cala Romani Hotel and would call it a two star not a three. They put four of us in a twin room that had three beds in. The room was covered in sand and they never changed the sheets all week and maids only made two out of the three beds.
There wasn’t what I would call a kids club. There was a good entertainment programme for kids and adults but you had to watch the kids at all times. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was varied although most of it, even the veg, was smothered in garlic.
There was no TV in the rooms and if you wanted to hire a kettle to make baby bottles in the night it would cost 12 euros, would be cheaper to buy one.
Good if you’ve got kids over 6 yrs or single but I wouldn’t go back not for the money they charge.

Just got back from Club Cala Romani.
All in all, a good holiday. The room was basic but you don’t spend much time in them anyway.
Food was fine, what you’d expect from all inclusive really. My kids, aged 13 and 6 years, enjoyed themselves. Alot for them to do day and night so kept them happy.
All and all, a good holiday and would return.

Having looked on the website before booking I found most of the comments to be true.
Food was good but pretty much the same day in day out.
Staff very friendly room was basic but very clean.
Entertainment was poor but tended to go into the town which was only a five minute walk from the hotel.
Plenty of entertainment with bars offering live music.
The only downside to the holiday experience was the transfer arrangements from and to Palma airport. This was booked through resorthoppa.com. The service was an absolute disgrace. We waited three hours on arrival at Palma and on the return we were told by the driver we were not on his list.
We did get on but it was not the best of experiences.
I have complained but have not had a reply some 6 weeks later.
Thomsonfly was an excellent service on both journeys.

The holiday overall was really good. We were a bit worried about going after reading some of the reviews on here but I know everyone likes to moan so we thought we would give it a go. Having a 4 and a half month baby, me and my partner thought it would be safer to go all inclusive so we could cut down leaving the complex, especially at night.
I can say the only problems we had were some of the staff! The women on entertainment could come across rather arrogant at times along with a lady on reception (over the hiring of a kettle) she didn't think it was her job to sort it out which meant me having to speak to the "landlord" of the kettle on the phone! Who also didn't like the fact we wanted our money back!
Other than that the entertainment was good and the pool area fantastic! The food was good - only one day did I complain. But there was plenty to choice from. The snack bar staff were on stand by at the closing of the snack area from 10:50 and went to the extent of locking us in the room so no one else could enter! I found that scary due to fire safety issues!
We originally thought the alcohol was watered down but when we asked the bar staff they proved to us it was not!
The room was basic with not a lot of room although it was only used as a pit stop and sleeping but the balcony had a great view at night and the bath was big too!
Make sure you’re careful when your booking your room as it was rather confusing! We had no fridge for the baby’s bottles (which we did request) and when we asked for a room with a fridge we were told it’s possible but we will have to sleep on sofa beds then instead! On talking to a couple that opted for this they said the kitchen took over the wardrobe space too!! So we just kept it as it was.
But apart from the little niggles it was GREAT!

Went for a break with wife as anniversary surprise booked by me. Found it to be of a good standard, apartment clean bit dated but ok.
Food of a good variety, staff very attentive to keeping it clean. Both me and wife fairly fussy about food but both found it very good.
Entertainment very good. Staff always trying to get you involved. Pool great, nearby beach also very good. Town 5 mins away the beach about 10 mins away.
All in all very enjoyable, hope to book for next year this time with kids.

Just wanted to write to say what a brilliant holiday my boyfriend and I had here.
The hotel was lovely. Very clean. The rooms were basic but perfectly adequate. Ours looked out over the pool which was nice.
The pool is huge and really nice (sometimes a bit cold!) and there were always enough sunbeds to go around.
It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach which is also really nice, the sea is clear and warm.
The staff were friendly enough and the entertainment was ok, but we tended to sit in one of the quieter bars, not quite old enough to be playing bingo yet!!!
The all inclusive food was fine, always a choice of (Spanish version of) full English, pastries, cereals, and fruit for breakfast. We didn't have lunch any day but I’m sure it was fine. The evening meal was also good, loads of salad, pasta, pizza, different meat choices, fish, vegetables, potatoes, chips etc. Could be a little repetitive but there was enough of a selection that you could have something different every night. Always loads of fruit as well.
The all inclusive drinks were great! The lager they had was San Miguel, the wines were ok, every spirit you can think of and cocktails.
All in all a really great hotel, had a really nice relaxing week here, wished we'd gone for two!

We stayed at this hotel in June with our 3 boys aged 2, 5 and 8. We were very sceptical upon arrival after receiving mixed reviews.
For the money we paid for the holiday we couldn't have asked for better, although the rooms were very basic they were clean and had regular maid service. The complex is quite large and the entertainment for the children was great both day and night. My husband and I also joined in adult activities during the day as the children were kept occupied.
The food was always nice with quite a large selection albeit it became a bit monotonous but at least there was always something the kids would eat and for the price we paid we were able to go into town for meals (which is great, not too big but enough selection of bars and restaurants with friendly staff).
The pools were fantastic three different depths which suited all our children and whether it was the time of year but we were always able to get sunbeds even after lunch. Possible where we went during school term it wasn't' as busy but we never had to queue for food or drink, although it was busier by the end of our stay.
The beaches were lovely we travelled to a few as we had a hire car although there is large beach 10mins walk from hotel.
Upon our return we immediately booked for next year, in our experience it is very difficult to find a holiday that has all of the above at a very reasonable price. If your looking for five star then you will have to go elsewhere and pay for five star but all things considered we would recommend this holiday resort and hotel to anyone with a young family.

We, three girls of 25, stayed at Club Cala Romani the last week of September. We stayed in one of the apartments which had a kitchen, living-room/spare bedroom, bedroom, bathroom and a big balcony.
The swimming pool was fantastic; the shows in the evening were great fun. The food was a bit repetitive but overall not bad.
One of the comments on this page was that there was not much to do in town -
I couldn't disagree more! Pub Papagayos at the end of the street is superb! We had a lot of laughs with Darren, Sean and Danny.
Afterwards you can always go dancing at Tiffany's and even when that closes (at 5am) there are still places you can go to. I think we went out three times till very late in the morning... (Not as much fun for the maids who came to clean our room the next morning) So if you just look hard enough and get in contact with the locals, you'll find the great stuff!
We'll certainly go back next year, maybe even as soon as May.

First of all I can honestly say that this holiday was one of the best holidays I have ever had.
That was partly due to the fact that we joined in the activities on offer to us which I have never done before-but that reflects the friendliness and the fantastic welcome you get from the entertainment staff.
The only thing that let the holiday down was the resort hopper and the weather (we had a few days of rain but it was late September). We got on the bus at 7.20pm after having left our house at 10am (very long day) it didn't move until 7.40 and we didn't arrive at the hotel until 9.45.
It is only a 1 hour transfer if you go straight to the hotel but it dropped us off last (and we were the only 1s on the bus with young kids-quite frustrating and worrying that we had got on the wrong bus!!) After speaking to other people in the hotel it does cost 80-90 Euros for a taxi but may be worth it especially if it was a night flight.
Anyway, we stayed in a hotel room rather than an apartment-apparently the apartments are a lot bigger-having a kitchen and a separate bedroom + a living area.
Our room was very small-it had a TV but you have to hire the remote control and this was quite expensive (about 25 Euros a week with a 10 euro deposit) so it really was just a base for us but that was fine. We were on the road side but it was quiet and it didn't get too hot as the sun rose on that side in the morning and quickly went over the building-there is no air conditioning.
The pool area is fantastic there is a baby pool and 2 bigger pools which are all in the same area - I've got a 19 month old and 8 year old so I needed to be able to see them both and I could - perfect. There were always plenty of sunbeds too.
There is a splash pool near a play park just down the path where the tennis courts are and there is also an area for quite a few of the activities that they offer (French boules, archery, shooting, javelot?! etc) but all in a close vicinity.
There is a path down to the beach which I timed at 7 minute walk but apart from that the only way out of the complex is through the reception which is up a slope. I felt my kids were safe there-which is a must for any parent.
The beach is nice-gets very busy and we paid 10 Euros 50 for 2 beds and a shade but apparently the more you hire in a day the cheaper they work out at (e.g. if you hire 3 it was say 12 Euros-don't quote me)!! There was an issue with the jellyfish which only seemed to be around in the morning and my son did get stung a couple of times-not serious but not a nice experience.
The food was very good-all inclusive is always a bit samey but we stayed a fortnight and didn't get bored. The snack bar was good-was a mini version of the restaurant in between and they opened it at 7am for us so we could have something to eat on our last day as we left before breakfast.
They really look after you and the entertainment team were fantastic-very friendly, encouraging and they work so hard. If you have kids I would say this holiday is for you.
It’s not expensive; the entertainment is great-especially for kids (the entertainment for adults is great but doesn't normally get going till 10pm and only for an hour) and most of all it is so child friendly-I recommend it for families.

myself,my hubby and 3 kids aged 11,8 and 3 went for a break at halloween, never again would i go at that time of year, the weather was awful and the pool was the coldest ever!! the hotel could do with being updated, the rooms were horrible. The food at the start of the week was quite good with a good variety of meats, pasta etc.however after about the 3rd day it all went downhill, we were the last people there as it was closing for the winter,so the same food was being brought out again and again, it was disgusting, in the end we were living on soup and bread. when we got home my husband had to take some time off work as he was so ill,we were told it was probably the soup as they were using all the left over food to make it...never again!
