I have just returned from a holiday with my husband and two children, aged 3 & 8. The hotel is clean and tidy and fairly modern, just your typical Spanish apartment.



Our room had a double bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen area with fridge, cooking rings, cupboards and dining table. Further sleeping was via couches in the living room. Although I had no intention of cooking the fridge was very handy.



For what I paid for this hotel I could never begin to complain. The pool area was beautiful, lovely well presented pool and the views straight out to sea were stunning. We were up at 8am to reserve a sunbed but it was never excessive, the pool was ideal for children, but teenagers and adults were a bit stumped as it barely had a 'deep end' so no raucous games were possible!



The one thing which stopped this holiday getting full marks was the food. I am not a fussy person so always found something to eat, my husband the same, the kids struggled a little but all I can say is 'we managed' nothing too bad but nothing to shout about either. However there was more than adequate fresh bread and salads which were great.



All in all this was a fine holiday with the pool location bringing the rating right up there. If you can get yourself a great deal then you have nothing to worry about.

I think that the apartments are very good. They are very clean and although the radio didn't work they were in good condition. I thought the views were lovely and the actual hotel and pool area were very good.



There was not much in the way of activities for children but the staff were nice. Not an English tourist place, most of the people were German. But I thought the holiday was very good and there was a nightlife round the corner and places to eat. The food wasn’t that bad, I just think some people will never be pleased. My family and I enjoyed ourselves and it was an 8/10 holiday.

After booking our holiday then reading the reviews my girlfriend and I were quite worried, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised.



As we found the food to be very edible with no cold chips etc eating out only once for a change. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were excellent with the cleaner coming in three times a week.



The bad points were the pool is small and the Germans are in the majority, overall a very nice cheap holiday.

The Calas Apartments were fine, the whole complex needed a coat of paint, it was clean enough but the furniture was old and worn out and needed a re-vamp. I thought the holiday was good value for money and the food was excellent, the restaurant was really clean and there was a good selection of food for Breakfast, lunch and Dinner. The apartments are set on a cliff and I would not recommend it for the elderly or disabled, and even families with young babies with prams or buggies. As the steps are steep in the middle of the complex, and it would be a problem getting up and down from the pool. The apartments are great for families or couples who have a tight budget but want to get away. I thought on the whole that it was a value for money holiday and would go again.

We are here now at the Calas park hotel and I can only say stay away, don’t ever use sunstar leisure as they will forget to book your room and blame you saying you should have confirmed your booking via phone, the hotel itself is clean but the food and staff are terrible we eat out most days the drinks are sickly sweet made with chilled tap water that makes you ill, god only knows what half the food is they serve because I have never tasted or seen anything like it, and you have to be super fit as you have to go up or down loads of stairs to get anywhere in the hotel and they don’t have lifts we had seven flights of stairs from the pool to our room !



You have been warned, stay away just read the other reports!!!

The food in this hotel is really bad if you can manage to eat it you will probably have a stomach ache after it, it was mostly chips that were ice cold or some type of fish that no one had heard of.



The soft drinks were made of tap water and gave you a further bad stomach the pool was nice as were the staff rooms were cleaned 3 times a week and were very nice.



Not a good place if you have trouble walking because there are lots of steps.

Me and my wife arrived on the 3rd of June this year. After getting the yellow bands stapled to our arms for the all inclusive we got to our room. I must say the accommodation was excellent. Very clean and lots of room for the two of us with an ample balcony looking over the sea.



The staff at the hotel are professional and if I could rate the hotel I would give it 9 out of 10. Some points of note however:



Kids - Lots of screaming ones all the time running around. If like us you wanted some peace the beech which is a tem minute walk away is best, however the beds cost 10.5 euros per day for 2. Seriously Butlins on speed.



Food - Very bland and after a day and a half of eating it we only had breakfast there and ate out. Cold chips and tomatoes don't do anything for me all day long. Take some extra money as unless you like bland food it will cost you!



Eating out - Not much choice. Centro commercial only take s 20 mins to walk around at my slow pace. The Mallorca bar / restaurant seemed to give the best service and food.



My last and only point is why if the beer is free you cannot get a pint glass? You can get two half glasses. Please review ASAP.



In summary good hotel. Use the beach for peace and quiet and take extra money to eat out as it's only all inclusive if you like bland food.

My visit to Calas Park was enjoyable, nice views, nice weather. The local area was nice, clean with good places to eat and shop and the beach was a picture, stunning and clean with clear waters.



The staff at the hotel were great with children and I would say that the hotel was great for families with younger children.



The only bad points about Calas Park Apartments was that food in the hotel wasn’t too pleasant, I found myself eating out most nights and the swimming pool was quite small.

This was a late deal for us, ended up in an apartment underneath both sets of stairs coming down from the reception area so sounded like herds of elephants first thing in the morning. Apartment was very basic but clean enough, not much supplied in the way of cutlery and crockery.



This place seems to have lots of Germans, hardly any English at all. The little town is quite nice to walk around and has plenty of places to eat.



The beach around the corner along the cliff top is very nice to visit. Maybe I would have preferred to stay in Cala D’Or as seemed a bit more to do and a few lovely beaches there too.



All the loungers get taken early so if you don't get down to the pool early you have had it for the day!



I think that I would have enjoyed this holiday more if the accommodation had been better I think.
