BOREDOM SHOULD HAVE PUT US TO SLEEP, BUT UNFORTUNATELY SLEEP WAS A LUXURY WE WERE DENIED
CALAS PARC IS A SERIES OF APTS. BUILT ON SEVERAL TERRACES, NOT AN HOTEL BUILDING AS SUCH.
RESULT BEING THAT EVERY GROUP OF INCOMING GUESTS GO CLUMPING PAST YOUR WINDOW/TERRACE, TRAILING WHEELED SUITCASES ACROSS A TILED FLOOR AT ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT/DAY.
FOOD LOOKED EXCELLENT...IF ONLY THEY WOULD ACTUALLY TURN ON THE BAINE MARIE TO KEEP IT WARM !
ENTERTAINMENT..EMBARRASING TO SAY THE LEAST.
ALL IN ALL THIS HOLIDAY HAS MADE US DECIDE NEVER TO RETURN TO MAJORCA AS LONG AS WE LIVE.

Submitted By: Mr Steve GriffithsFirst time for an all inclusive and we were pleasently suprised. The appartment was basic but very clean & tidy. The food was good & plentiful. Unfortunately there was nothing for our 17 year old to do.
Would I go back, no - would I recommend it to a family with young children (under 12), yes I would.

Submitted By: Mr A NealeMe, my wife and our two girls (2 and 3) really enjoy staying at the hotel year after year, so this year we took the inlaws, brothers and sisters e.t.c along as well. Considering that the inlaws normally stay in 4+ star accomodation they were pleasantly surprised and have booked up with us for next year already.
The food is good if not a bit repetitive at times but overall always of a good standard, with plenty of choice.
The rooms are of a good size and having the fridge and hob make it easier. The airconditioning is also a bonus especially as it is free to use.
I dont think we spent more than two hours a day out of the pool, and it is very good for little children with the gentle slopes going into and out of the pool. There was always enough sunbeds togo around which is always good and we did not find many people going out early to put towels out.
The rooms are cleaned almost everyday and the grounds are kept very tidy.
All the staff are very pleasant especially at reception, every year they remember us and our girls and are very nice to our children.
I would definately recomend the hotel to anyone. .
I would suggest checking as many sites as possible for prices as they are dramatically different between sites.
Anybody who says it is a poor hotel really does not understand what a 3 star all inclusive gives, this hotel gives you exactly what you want for a medium priced holiday.

Submitted By: Mrs A RidleyThe apartment itself was on the lower part of the complex and had an excellent view of the sea and the swimming pool, it was basic but we were not expecting anything else, there was however some ants that visited on several occasions and we even found a scorpion ( all beit a small one) in our kitchen sink one morning.
The food was ok but nearing the end of the first week we were starting to get a bit sick of it (ok if you like German sausage/salami) The kids club was great for my kids and they were never out of sight. The entertainment was geared for the children till around 8 then it was the adults turn with a good selection throughout the 10 days (Bingo was fun ---you get to know all sorts of languages).
I would only say that we didn't get to see the surrounding area as much as we wanted but the girls were more than happy which made our holiday a relaxed one !!
The trip to Marineland was well worth the money but Que early for the Dolphin show.

Submitted By: Mrs G RobertsApartments are very clean and spacious, separate bedroom ideal when you have 2 children could put them to bed and we could sit up in the lounge area or balcony without disturbing them, much better than a hotel where 4 are crammed into one room.
Rooms are cleaned every other day, staff are really friendly and helpful, in the 3 years of visiting noticed that majority of the staff are the same each year, a few of them even remembered us (not sure if that was a good thing!)
I notice a lot of people have complained about the food, we found there was something to eat at each meal time and I have 2 fussy children. breakfast consisted of choice of 5 cereal, fresh fruit, various breads, cakes, pastries, cheese, ham, also a hot buffet of sausages (some German) scrambled egg, beans, tomatoes, fried potatoes, fried eggs and bacon alternate days.
Lunch and dinner consisted of soup, lots of various salads, always 2 types of pasta, pizza, 3 types of veg, 2 types of potatoes, 2 types of fish and 2/3 types of meat dishes. Dessert was cakes, fruit, mouse, ice cream.
Drinks at the pool bar and entertainment bar was the same you only had to ask for alcoholic drinks, everything else slush, fizzy drinks, milkshakes, fruit juices, tea and coffee you helped yourself, so hardly any queues.
Entertainment was not fantastic but it is what you make it, kids club is good for the kids, it is carried out by the pool under a shaded area so kids can just go and join in if they want to.
Lovely views from the pool area and if you are lucky enough to get a room with a sea view fantastic to wake up to in the morning.
I took a travel kettle and a couple of mugs for my early morning cuppa as there are no utensils or crockery as it is all inclusive, fridges do work which is great as I used to take tubs of yoghurt from breakfast incase kids got peckish at bedtime.
Town centre is just at back of hotel so really easy to nip to the shops; the town has a couple of small fairs (little go karts and trampolines) and a couple of good crazy golf courses.
We always hire a car at the airport, we have then got it to go out to Waterparks etc, but a must is the Pirates Adventure its fantastic (even if you haven’t got kids) a really great stage show with food and drink included.
As I said going back again in 2008 for 16 days so can't be that bad.
" Hotel - very clean and wonderful... "
Submitted By: C PrescottFood - if you are German you will be fine, chips with everything, we thought that we could put up with it for a week, but we was wrong, towards the end we had to force it down. Plenty of choice for drinks
Location - long transfer from the airport, but worth it, the beach is a short walk from the hotel, down some steps, plenty of shops bars etc on the door step. We went fishing for a couple of days off the rocks, which was really good, take some cards with you incase it rains as there is not much to do when it does rains.
Would go again but self catering!
" Excellent value, if you want 7 days... "
Submitted By: Miss R YarwoodJust a few minutes’ walk to the beach which is nice. Weather was excellent.
Only downside is that my husband's brand new razor, blades and shaving cream went missing, so he had to go the last day without a shave (about £20 worth), which the reception staff looked blank about when mentioning!

Very mixed bag of reviews on here and Im surprised at some of the poor ones as there really is nothing to complain about this hotel complex - for the price its amazing value. You get more than 3 * entertainment and facilities.
Apartments are spacious but basic - VERY CLEAN. Typical Mallorcan type dark pine furniture. We were on the ground floor by the pool, which we requested and it was a lovely location with a balcony overlooking the sea. Fantastic views.
Pool lovely and clean, baby pool too and lots of loungers to sit on.
Food was very good. Lots to choose from. I love salads and meats and olives so was ideal for me. The salads were fantastic, fresh and always changed. There were always 2 types of pastas (with a type of passata sauce and grated cheese), chips and another type of potato which was either roast, boiled, of jacket halves. 2/3 types of meats, 1 or 2 types of fish, 1 or 2 types of veg (probalby the least choice but salads made up for them). For pudding there were cakes , jellies, creme caramel, cream dishes, fruit and yoghurts. Lunch was similar. Always lovely fresh bread and rolls with meals. Breakfast there were cereals, fruits, breads, toast, james, hams, cheeses and then hot cooked food with varying sausages (not all to my taste but plenty of other things to pick from), streaky bacon that is always on offer in mallorca, beans, cooked tomatoes, fried and scrambled eggs.
We took my nan and grandad who are very plain eaters and there was always something for them to eat and they really enjoyed it !!
Lots to drink, most of it self service , slush for the kids on tap, juices, sodas, tea, coffee , hot chocolate. Beers, wines, spirits, sangria , cocktails (the non alcholic san fransico was very nice ), milk shakes.
During the day there was tubs of ice cream and also an ice cream machine with cones to help yourself - our 4 year old thought it was fab.
A special mention to the kids club chap called Oliver who was lovely. Our son adored him and he had so much energy and patience with the kids - its was lovely. Mini disco of an evening was great, same songs every night so the kiddies got to know the words and dances, they loved it. Sami the dog comes and makes an apperance ! The adults entertainment isn't the best but we often went back to our balcony to put the little ones to sleep and have a drink. The best was the first night where they had the parrots from loro park which were very entertaining, other nights included karaoke, a live group, and Mr calas park - there was bingo every evening too and the giving out of certificates and medals. Our son won a medal at kids club and there was daily entertainment for adults too including shooting and water volleyball.
The stairs for buggys is hard but we managed and not ideal if you are elderly and have problems with stairs as there are alot here. That isn't being critical , its just a fact.
There are 37 stairs down which leads to a path to the beach, which is a5 minute walk away. The beach is small but beautiful in a little cove. Stunning clear blue sea.
We had a really plesant holiday and will definately consider returning next year. We went in May which is a great time to go. Not sure how busy it gets in the height of the season and how that would effect it.
We met some lovely people here too and my son made friends a loved it.
Advice: Quite resort for families, nice shops, little cove beach, small centre for kids with trampolines etc
Activities: Marine land is fab.
Good for: Beach
