Just returned from our 6th stay at the Fariones Hotel and once again what a fantastic holiday we have had. I cannot rate this hotel high enough. The accommodation is lovely and clean and the staff and so warm and friendly. The food is superb with a wonderful choice which caters for everyones needs. We spent the week relaxing around the pool and dipping in and out of the sea as it is so close.
Well I am just about to book again for next year so I guess that saids it all !
Thank you everyone at Fariones Hotel for once again another fantastic holiday & see you soon.

" This was my fifth time in Lanzarote... "

This was my fifth time in Lanzarote and my first time to stay at Los Fariones Hotel. I couldnt commend this hotel enough. The rooms were basic but immaculate and cleaned every day. The hotel staff were fantastic and really couldnt do enough for you. As for the food, i was lost for words, the breakfast buffet was amazing from champagne, to english breakfast it was amazing, eating while over looking the ocean. The lunch buffet was fantastic aswell, from freshly caught fish every day, to any type of meat you could ask for. We didnt have any evening meals in the hotel so i cant say anything about that. I would recommend this hotel for anyone of any age, its a real treat and i am looking forward to staying there again. 10/10
" We flew with Iberworld onSat Feb 9th.... "

We flew with Iberworld onSat Feb 9th. The smell on the plane was disgusting. ( It was like stale vomit) When we complained to the Sunworld rep she didn't want to know at first but when we persisted she listened. The seats are also much too close together. I'm only 5ft 4 and my knees were hitting the seat in front of me.
When we got to our accomodation there were bulbs missing, there were only 2 cereal bowls for six of us, no wine glasses, and no coffee pot. We were given extra bowls and a coffee pot that we felt was unsafe the handle was so loose. On the terrace there was a little table for four and four chairs. We had to ask three times for another table and two chairs. We eventually got them on Tuesday.
The lock on our front door broke on Monday and the maintenance men came, took the door away and that was the last we saw of it! We used the shutter to lock the place after that. I looked under my bed and there was a thick layer of dust and a bit of a child's toy. There were also two mouldy spoons stuck in the sofa. An ipod was stolen from the bungalow in Friday. We stayed in the same bungalow two years ago and mentioned in the comment sheet that the tumble dryer wasn't working properly. It is still the same two years later
The location is marvelous- beautiful view and very central and that is what earned the 5 rating.

I think the comments above must have been written by travel agents. The food in this hotel is awful. Staff rude and really nothing to write home about-really needs a good refurbishment. If stained carpet is your thing this hotel is for you.

We have just come back from this hotel and we were absolutely delighted with it.
Recommend to anyone to stay here. our room overlooked beach and pool, woke up to waves crashing each morning, bliss. the climate was fantastic hot in day but lovely breeze at night. the food was excellent and my husband is fussy!
Top class hotel with a fab location right on the beach, also enjoyed some time in keanes bar across the road, drinks were much cheaper. met so many people there who return year after year, cant wait to pack my case again. go for it you will not be disappointed.

" My holiday in Lanzarote in the Los... "

My holiday in Lanzarote in the Los Fariones Apartments was the best I’ve ever had. Being in my late teens I wanted a holiday near to the beach, my own space with a pool to relax and great night life. This had all three and I wouldn't change any of it! The people are lovely - although I would avoid the Moroccans on a night out. The clubs and bars are amazing! Some open till 6am! Karaoke was great in Titos! Ceasars was wicked!
Did a sight seeing day up Timanfaya, really exciting, if you end up going then this is a must.
On a negative point, I had my bag stolen from underneath my nose on my last night when I was relaxing on the beach. Told police but they couldn't really do much since I was leaving at 11am the next morning.
All in all this holiday was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone! So start saving coz if you want good nights out the money comes in handy.

" The apartment complex was very good.... "
Submitted By: Mrs Y J Stanton
The apartment complex was very good. Located on the fringes of the busy 'strip', but within a few minutes walk of the 'Old Town' with its good choice of traditional restaurants and tapas bars frequented by the locals.
The standard of the accommodation was very good with large kitchen/lounge with good quality kitchen units, microwave, fridge and hob. The bedroom was well fitted with large illuminated mirror and range of built-in wardrobes. The bathroom had a full bath with shower over, WC, hand basin set in vanity unit, hairdryer (very basic) and large mirror. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was serviced daily by the maid. Towels were changed daily if required and bed linen twice a week.
Unusually breakfast was included in the package, which was served in the recently extended dining area. Good choice of cereals, fruits juices, fresh fruit, yogurts, a chef cooking eggs/bacon/sausages etc, different varieties of bread, cakes, conserves and bubbly on offer!
We just had a couple of criticisms - our balcony had an unpleasant view across roof tops of local commercial units, and the sunbeds didn't have any cushions on them, making sunbathing rather uncomfortable for long periods.
New Year is an excellent time to visit the area as the locals really celebrate the occasion. On New Years Eve the main 'strip' is sectioned off and no cars are allowed. A large stage was set up in the street with live band and disco for a massive street party. At 2.00 there was a fantastic firework display on the beach.

" My husband and I have stayed at Hotel... "

My husband and I have stayed at Hotel Los Fariones three times so far and just booked for our fourth stay in Sept 04.
The Hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is fantastic.
Each room has a wonderful sea view and is directly on the beach, which is great. Image yourselves sitting in the restaurant terrace in the morning eating your breakfast and watching the sea rippling onto the sand.
The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay an enjoyable one.
The perfect hotel to unwind and have a very relaxing holiday.

This is one of the best Spanish Hotels I have sayed in and can only think that the adverse comments were from other accomodation of which there are a few under the name of Fariones offering self catering and not the Los Fariones Hotel.
My hotel stay was half board and everything was near perfect.
Recepion,Bar staff, waiters, cleaners could not be more helpful.
The rooms have views to die for. Who can fail to be impressed waking up to the sea lapping on the small private beach with a view through superb gardens and plam trees.
Food: more than enough choice and quality from the breakfast or luch buffet. Dinner is A la carte which would grace many top London restraunts.
Advice: The sea front road is under re-construction so beware.
Activities: Puerto Bahia restaurant for food and views.
Good for: Beach
