We have just returned from Krakow after spending 3 nights there in honour of our first wedding anniversary.
We only managed to book these apartments last minute due to our original accommodation falling through!
The apartments are finished to a high standard and were in a great location for the Jewish Quarter. The only thing that we found slightly disappointing was the fact that there were two bedrooms and a kitchen but no lounge.
However - especially for the young free and single the location is fab - lots of intimate bars.
We had our 2 year old with us so no chance for us to partake!

Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent- a huge amount of choices of food. The reception staff were very helpful.
The situation of the hotel was very good, a few minutes’ walk from the Jewish Quarter which is full of synagogues, Jewish restaurants etc. It was also only a 10 minute walk from the main square with many cafes, restaurants and of course the Cloth Hall which is full of stalls selling a selection of goods.

Krakow is a great city, with similarities to other Eastern European cities like Budapest and Prague - plenty of street markets, day trips to go on, castles & other historical sights and great food & drink at even better prices.
This city is well worth a visit before it becomes too 'touristy'.
Highly recommended is the Salt Mines, the castle and, if you want to experience some history, then Auschwitz is only a short trip away.
The restaurants and bars are excellent and centred on the main square (and the surrounding streets where you often find the best ones at the most reasonable prices).
Hotel Kazimierz is in the Jewish quarter of the city, not even a 10 minute walk from the main square.
It is 'comfortable' accommodation - nothing spectacular but reasonably priced with a good location and friendly staff who speak good English (which is just as well as, unfortunately, my Polish is not up to much!!).

Spent three days in Krakow at the Kazimierz Hotel and would definitely recommend it. The room was simply furnished, very clean and comfortable. There was a very good selection for breakfast ranging from sausage(spicy) & eggs to cereal, cold meats and cheese and various cakes and pastries.
The hotel is, as they said, just a short walk from the main square and there are plenty of bars and shops en-route. The Salt mines were fantastic and well worth seeing, the castle is best done on your own, you don't need a tour guide. We went to Auchwitz with a group and found the tour was a little bit rushed and no time to have a look around on your own. Still well worth the visit though. If I was going again I would make my own way there so that I could do it at my own pace.
