Me & my family have been going to Playa den Bossa for 17years & we still keep going back.. Whether its 2 of you or a whole crowd. One of the main reasons is Murphys Irish bar. This is the kind of pub that you can go into every night of your holiday & never get bored. The range of nationalities in there is just fantastic! Even better if your staying at the Jet Apartments. I have stayed there 3 times & would recommend, not only for the locality but also for the well layed out apartments. They are decent size & always clean! No complaints at all..
Yes, the planes do fly overhead but who cares, you seriously do get used to them after a day or so!
I would definitely recommend the Jet Apartments to people of all ages!!!

Absolutly fantastic! I went with 7 other friends and we stayed in two apartments (4 people in each). Atmosphere was great, lively at night and a relaxing in the day by the pool or beach (which is right on your doorstep). I'de definitely recommend it :)

Apartments located very close to beach (within view depending on room) and stretch for a long area on the waterfront. This means the location of your room can be very different depending on which bit you get (we were part of a very large group and some apartments were 5 mins walk from each other - but all very close to the beach.) The complex has a variety of shops and bars and the area itself has plenty going on. The whole resort is very close to the airport so you quickly get used to the planes flying overhead, whoever named the apartments had a sense of humour! As the island is so small access to the rest is easy either by bus, taxi or rented car, the other resorts are lively and San Antoni, Ibiza town and the rest are well worth a visit.

We booked the Jet apartments in Ibiza for one week for a party of six of us. When I returned home excited about the holiday I did a bit of late research about the hotel only to be left feeling a bit on edge of what I have read about the hotel, people were saying that they had money stolen from safe boxes and poor room conditions ect.
On the day we arrived at the Jet apartments I remembered thinking about these reviews and how wrong they appeared to be, the rooms were very clean , everything worked e.g. Taps, showers ect. And was feeling very upbeat about the holiday.
We got a safe box to keep our passports and money and we never had any problems with stuff going missing ,the hotel itself is right on the beach front , there is regular disco's on the beach and 2 good sized swimming pools and pool bars that serve snacks and beers to keep us going.
There is plenty of pubs very close to the hotel itself and more choice if you are prepared to either get a very short taxi of a half hour walk where you can find the bull bar and jungle bar and restaurants.
To conclude my report I would like to say that we would go to the Jet again at the other reviews I have read didn’t seen to be apparent on our visit, it’s not the poshest hotel in the world but if you are looking for a fairly priced hotel in the heart of playa den Bossa then this is the place to be.
One last thing is its only a 5 min drive from the airport so no long annoying bus ride, you do get some aircraft noise but nothing that would spoil your holiday unless you go with the attitude to just complain for complaining sake.

My family and I have stayed at the Jet apartments three times and would encourage any family to pay a visit.
The Jet is right on the beach and a ten minute walk to the Aqua Park. Everything in Playa d en Bossa is geared up for families and is very child oriented, but it also has a lively side for younger people and couples.
Buses are frequent to take you all over the Island and you can even take the boat taxis around the island. So many restaurants to choose from and the people are friendly.
The Jet apartments are basic but spacious; we stay in a two bedroom apartment which is more than ample for the five of us. In 2002, 21 of us went and we had the best holiday ever, I would recommend a Champagne cruise, its fun for every age.
We spend most of our holidays by the beach or pool and as the Jet has both within 10 yards its ideal as parents to suit everyone.
The only thing I can say that annoyed me while I was there was, that as flights to Ibiza seem to be at silly times I was woken by arriving or departing guests some nights at silly o’clock wheeling their luggage down the echoing corridors, and not realising that at 3 o'clock in the morning some people with families are asleep.
This did not however spoil our stay. The airport is quite near and I enjoy watching the planes flying very low over the beach in front of the Jet ready to land.
Although we travel a lot my children who are now 20, 17, and 15 always want to return to the Jet. "Out of the mouths of babes".

11 of us stayed at the Jet apartments during Sept 06 and have to say its so much better than staying in the west end!
Bora Bora beach is right on your doorstep as well as Space being just across the road!
The rooms were clean and receptionists were really friendly! Bus stop is close too so its pretty easy getting to Ibiza town or San An.
Food in the area is OK but probably best to head to Ibiza town for evening meals and pre drinks at bars as Pacha and El Divino are close by!
Some bars in Playa d'en Bossa provide a free bus service to whichever club you are heading to that night, providing that you get a drink there first.
Would definitely recommend staying here and looking forward to staying again this summer.

Me and 3 others went to Ibiza in June 06 and had a brilliant time. We stayed in 2 separate rooms which were both large and clean. Both rooms had air con which was lovely as it was red hot. The apartments are situated directly on the beech which is brilliant. There are 2 pools and many beech/pool bars around the apartment. I would highly recommend a night a Murphy's an Irish bar just in front of the hotel. We got a taxi to San Antonio most nights as that’s where all the clubs are. I would avoid eating at the BBQ bar the front of the apartments as the food is under cooked and the meat is fatty. The food smells lovely but believe you me it’s disgusting.
Overall we had a brilliant time and will be returning to Ibiza!!!

Went to Jet apartments last year with a large group of friends. Found it to be a nice apartment complex wit plenty of restaurants, pool bars and bars on site 2 keep us entertained if we wanted to take a break from San Antonio for the night.
The lovely beach was just 2mins from the apartments and Bora Bora beach was almost on the site, with brilliant foam parties both during the day and night. Playa den Bossa was quieter than San Antonio but it was nice to get a break form the hecticness of San Antonio during the daytime.
The clubs were brilliant in Ibiza; Manumission was 50euro to get in, but definitely worth it. The strip in San Antonio was brilliant and the staff great giving us free shots and great deals on drinks. Would definitely go back to Ibiza, although only for a week as the nightlife is so mad that your wrecked after a week!

This Island is not just for Adults I went with my two young children and had a wonderful time! Great food, entertainment was fantastic.
When you go out to a pub (child friendly) they have loads of machines, games , bouncy castles the lot , all for like £1.00 . Keeps them happy while you’re having a natter and meeting new friends.
Open until about 2am too kids can stay. The Hotel and pool is out of this world. You can stay in the hotel or apartments. We had an apartment and it was great. 5min walk to the beach!

Before we went I came on this site to read reviews about the jet apartments, and was a bit worried that it wouldn’t be suitable for our three children age 3, 6, and 13. but when we got there it was great the reps and jet staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially ****** from Thomas cook who even came to say goodbye when we left. there was also plenty for the kids to do wit the small funfair just across the road and a children’s pool away from all the teenyboppin clubbers, also with the apartments being directly on the beach the kids could go every day.
I also recommend jets on site tattooist both me and my partner had one done and they look wicked, the places to go with kids at night are top 21 for great music, and big bens if you want a great British family night with something different every evening.
If your looking for a bite to eat I give Eddie and Rosie’s 10/10 the food is to die for, 3 course Sunday roast for 10 euros and a wide selection of English dishes and something for even the fussiest of kids(as mine are). The staff there are really excellent definitely deserve a pay rise for there hard word and friendly attitude. Its situated at the end of the road down the side of KFC.
Other things to do are the sunset boat trip which gave us some lovely photos and was dead romantic.
The Aguamar aquapark is reasonably priced and good fun for all the family
And the scuba diving trip was a good laugh as well.
Other places you could try are oasis and sports bar both sell a decent meal at around 7 euros for a main course.
The only things I can complain about is the music never stops its on 24/7 but after the first night you don’t really notice it(and I'm a really light sleeper).
And the sun beds around the jet apartment pools will cost you 4 euros a day even if you are staying at the jet so if you have a big family it does get costly, however you can just buy a blow up lilo and use that by the pool and they’ll cost you between 5-12 euros.
All in all it was a really great holiday with plenty to do plenty to see and we’ll definitely go back again.
