Hotel Sur

My husband and I stayed here just before Christmas 2004. The location was excellent, easy walking distance from all the attractions in Malaga Old Town and also close to the train station. The rooms were very clean with all the facilities you would expect in a decent hotel, this all at a very reasonable price in my opinion of €60 per night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good city centre hotel, within the wonderful city of Malaga. I just came back from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Sur. the room was average for the price (69 euros/night) there was no hair dryer and the shower head was terrible, otherwise the hotel was centrally located and there was alot of restaurants and tapas bars nearby,

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in Malaga for two nights in late June, 2004. The hotel is in a small street centrally located in downtown Malaga. We were within walking distance from some of the main attractions such as the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, etc. The bus stop was very close by. The hotel itself was well kept: it was clean and tidy. If you are travelling with your spouse or significant other, make sure to ask for the "matrimonial" bed because otherwise they will put you in room with two separate single beds. the hotel sur is in a great position. its very close to the main bus station in malaga town centre. number 19 bus from the airport (15 mins. cost one euro) you can get the train too. the hotel is situated.... directions follow..opposite the main shipping port there is a tourist board office..if you stand with your back to the office the hotel is up a small street to the left called trinidad grund. if you turn left and keep walking down a tree lined promenade 10 mins you have the beach. opposite you have fantastic designer... more
