We had our room broken into tonight. Small valuables stolen everything important was kept in the safe. Security man refused to phone the police even though a drawer was opened and left open so there would have been finger prints the window was also left wide open and so... more

after reading the reviews i thought it would be a little under average. but when i arrived with my mum and sister. i was shocked. it was BRILLIANT! the pool was fantastic and it had a lovely pool table. internet access and a clean room. 10/10 x

After being transferred from the hotel from hell this was a refreshing change to see polite proffesional staff who speak good english. On arrival the check in was prompt and concise directions of where our apartment was situated. Luggage trolleys to hand and plenty of them. When we booked with travel company we was told it was 3*with air conditioning. We arrived, but it was a 2* with NO air conditioning!. Appartment was clean and spaceious, Sadly the towels had suncream/sweat marks on them and was very dirty, they forgot to change them before we arrived! Have just returned from a fab 10 day holiday at Lomo Blanco in Lanzarote and what a place. From start to finish the staff were helpful and friendly, Had no problem with the staff understanding anything that you needed and there was always someone at reception who could help you with any query. We stayed in a one bed apartment and it was clean and tidy and right across from the pool, the rooms were cleaned every day and towels and bedding changed every 2 days. Well we have just returned from a family holiday there. Our Apartment was on the ground floor and while at first this was great we soon encountered problems!!! Our apartment was broken into while we were at pool during the day, some items were stolen, phone - handbag and all its contents and a portable DVD player!!!. When I reported it to the receptionist she didn't want to know, the police told me come back in the morning and see the translator the rep never showed up the morning I waited for her!! we have just arrived back from lomo and where quite impressed i was a little worried having read some of the posts . we wanted one of the new apartments but they only come in one bedroom . having said that the pools at that bloock where not to good for small kiddies. the location was great and even if you did not fancy walking back a taxi was 2 euro from the new town.Its a pity about the entertainment which was non starting as this is a great little complex if it could get some good entertainment more people would come back to the bar at... more

Very modern and clean interior. Almost like a small luxury apartment, which was a very nice surprize. The best thing about the hotel was the gorgeous appartment and the gardens surrounding the pools. Very quiet and tranquil. The kitchen is not ideal if you want to cook every night and the bar's entertainment is incredibly tacky, but the location is perfect for nights and days out in Peurto Del Carmen. We have just returned from a week where we stayed at Lomo Blanco. The situation was great really central between the old and the new town. We could walk every where with our 3 children. The complex was fine with the pool facilities very good. ( would suggest they replace the sun longers that have cracked). We did not eat in the hotel so I can't comment as the selection of fab food in the resort is so good. Overall I would return to the Lomo Blanco again and we intend to return next year. We stayed here in September 2007 for two weeks and found all in all, the place to be comfortable, convenient and central. Conveneintly situated up a sharp hill just back off the strip - be warned this is not the resort if you have mobility problems or can't hack Cardiac Hill. Even the locals call it this so be warned it is what it sounds - a very steep hard slog. There are steps if you leave the hotel and turn left - they are a bit dire and dirty in places with the unfortunate odd stain and "aroma". Big drawback and if you follow... more

Lomo Blanco was conviently situated between the old and new town. The apartments were clean and comfortable. There was a tv in the kitchen/living area with sky movies and mtv and sky sports for just €18 extra. The staff were more than helpful and the apartments were cleaned 5 times a week. The residents while i was there were mostly Irish. The food wasnt up to much but full irish fries down the street are just €2.50. I would recommend these apartments and will definately return!! more

My Wife, I and our 6 mth old are just back from the Lomo Blanco. Found it great. It was clean and quite. We had asked for a microwave and a cot and it was there on arrival. Apartment was perfect, large bedroom and bathroom, decent kitcheen/living area. We had requested an apartment in the refurbished block. We did not eat there and to be honest we wouldn't either, but there are so many nice places to eat in the old town (10 mins away) it wasn't an issue.
