We have been to Lanzarote every year for the past 10 years, we have always stayed at the La Penita Apartments which are very clean but it's just past the casino. The beach we like to use is over the road from the candle shop because it has a shower block and toilets and a small shop for cool drinks etc. It's a long walk every day up and down; this is when we found the Lomo Blanco apartments.
Lomo Blanco apartments are just at the back of Linikers bar, we thought great when we got there. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. It's nice to go back to a small but very friendly bar for a night cap. The the bar that we use alot is next door to the candle shop called the Spanish Inn, it's owned by a man called Demise he also owns Linikers bar. Very friendly man and staff, always something on at night, give it a go.

My friend and I spent a great week in these aparments. Very clean, tidy and well looked after.
Weather was fantastic, nightlife quite boring but plenty of breeze to keep you cool.
Only fault was the two steep hills we had to climb every day and night. But don’t let that put you off as I am looking forward to returning again soon.
One tip though. Be aware of the 20kg baggage allowance at the airport as they are very strict charging 9euros for every kilo you are over.

We enjoyed our time in Lanzarote and the weather was great. We experienced a bit of a heat wave the day after we arrived with temperatures in the 40's.
The apartments were spacious and had a great view from the balcony. The apartment however wasn't cleaned that well by the cleaners. The apartments are located a few streets up from the main street with a lot of steps to climb.
They were refurbishing some apartments while we were there and it caused a little noise but nothing too serious. The work should be completed by now.
The American Indian cafe in the new town is lovely for food and drink and very good value with a special shot after your meal. Staff were very friendly.
The restaurants closest to these apartments weren't nice but as you got closer to the resort centre in the new town they were lovely.
We will go back again.

Our room was fully equipped with all our essential items, it had two large pools and a smaller pool for kids.
The hotel had 24 hour reception and internet access. The apartment also had a restaurant, but I would not advise to eat there, I would advise eating out. The food out in Lanzarote is excellent in both the new and old town which the lomo blanco apartments are right in the middle of. The new town is a lot busier with a lot more night life and bars. I would recommend eating in the tex-mex and cafe ola. A lot of bars and a few restaurants look out over the beach.
In the old town literally all the restaurants look out over the harbour. There a few more restaurants here with a more family orientated bars. I would recommend the dolcha vita as a place to definitely eat in if you are a fan of pasta and pizza.

Just came back had a great time but found that the apartments were not to the standard we expected. The cleaners came in and cleaned, if that’s what you call it – the toilet smelt of urine when we got there and when we left there.
Steps to the main road - 156 of them down pee alley as we named it, if you go this way you will find out why. The other alternative is down cardiac hill! We did not find much entertainment for the kids through the day at the poolside, one pool table outside and one inside plus table tennis, one worn out dart board.
The sun loungers are in need of replacing as a great deal of them are broken, no air con, toasters you have to hire, also fans cost 15 euros per wk, television 3 euros per day - shocking. We had a great time but made our own fun and we won’t be going back to Lanzarotte.

After reading many reviews on other sites about this place being bad I dreaded it! But when we arrived I was shocked to find it was all clean and friendly. The hotel was situated on a hill with lots of stairs so not that great for disabled people, but my children found them great fun and loved counting them every time we climbed them.
The pool didn’t have a life guard but was clean and tidy. There was snacks all day beside the pool.
Entertainment was good and children’s entertainer kept my children in laughter all the time.
The apartment was huge and had a good size kitchen.
Loved the resort and was very cheap to eat out and all restaurants were child friendly!!
Will definitely go back again!

Spotlessly clean, exactly as in brochure, apartment fully furnished as described, full complement of kitchenware to provide simple meals, in fact no complaints at all.
The staff were very friendly at all times. The Supermarket was close by, but down a flight of steps which may put some people off. Similarly the beach and main strip is down another flight of steps, but we never found it to be any real distance. Taxis are cheap, usually about €2.50 from anywhere in the resort, so don’t be concerned by a walk back up the steps if feeling tired!
Resort in a quiet part of town, but close to everything, so I would recommend it to anyone looking for self-catering apartments.

Excellent facility, clean, good food, apartments well equipped and maintained. Very close to old town, beach and new town, restaurants discos etc. In particular staff were excellent, in particular a British girl, called Faye who works there is extremely professional, helpful and just a great personality. Entertainment available for kids & adults alike daily. Will go back there again.

stayed here with hubby and 2 kids. My big complaint was there in brochure they advertise kids club and day and evening entertainment. However, no kids club and nobody at reception seemed to know wy not? Rep very unhelpful to people with young kids who complained about lack of kids entertainment and basically didn't want to know! no day time entertainment at all and caberet type entertianment about 4 times a week. But couldn't fault the place much as was clean and well kept.
