Reviews of Dwor Oliwski Hotel, Gdansk

What a wonderful gem of a hotel. If you are looking for somewhere special, ideal for couples. Very friendly staff greet you at the hotel and because we were celebrating my wife’s 40th Birthday we got a free upgrade to a junior suite. We paid about £65 per room per night with breakfast.



Breakfast was the best and at weekends serve until 11am; we had about a 4 course breakfast every morning (didn’t have to worry about lunch). We started the morning with a swim, sauna and steam and more or less had the facilities to ourselves. Bath robes are included in your rooms and you walk to the spa from your room in your bath robe.



We had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant which is fairly expensive food is very rich and the hotel offer local polish dishes. Wine in Poland seems to be very expensive (even house wine so be warned). We ate out in the main city on one night which was much cheaper.



Old town of Gdansk is about 8 minute drive from hotel expect to pay around £5 each way. This hotel is well worth the money set in a rural location with great spa facilities and excellent breakfast. If you don’t mind getting a taxi to and from the city then please stay here - I really do recommend this superb hotel.
