Went to Holland for a long weekend away. The hotel was very nice and in the winter time there is a big ice skating ring outside which made for a lovely winter atmosphere.
Bar and restaurant were of excellent value, and I recommend going around the corner to the Greek taverna, food in there was fantastic n great prices. Staff in the Marriott were very helpful and ensured our trip was as good as can be.
Spent a day in Amsterdam which is a charming city. took a boat trip along the river which was very nice, although a very long wait. We also visited Anne Frank’s house which was a very humbling experience. History lovers will thoroughly enjoy it, defiantly a must see even if you’re not into history.
Would love to return to Holland sometime, but maybe next time would stay in Amsterdam as the Hague is the more business part of Holland.
