we have stayed in this hotel 4 or 5 times and love. we always get the vey large family room with spectacular views of the suir from where we watched the tall ships. The rooms are decorated to make your stay as comfortable as possible and the bathrooms are a good size. we visit waterford usualy once a year from the UK to see relatives and the hotel is situated in a perfect location to get round the town.
The Staff are very polite and helpful and are always smiling. the hotel in general has a very nice and relaxed atmosphere and the staff greet you when passing in and out of the reception.
The restrauant provides a very good mixed breakfast and the bar is ideal to have lunch or an afternoon snack.
We will definitely be returning to this hotel in the near future. If you are planning to go to waterford try and go on the weekend of the spree it is very exciting and the parade is spectacular. the wizard of oz one was particularly good in 2005! have been 2004, 2005, 2006 and may 2007
