Reviews of Santa Ana Hotel, Lloret De Mar

The hotel is in a good location bars within 2 minutes walk and beach and main town only minutes away but all far enough away to get some kip! Our first year here in 2006 was great.. accomo is basic but clean and a fair size for 4 of you, however.. not all the staff are very friendly.. for being in a lively area they do not welcom you very kindly to getting back to the accomo in the early hours of the morning.. abit silly for a holiday place to be honest! they also seem to take on quite a few younger people, of which we are, and found great, but don't allow for younger people with noise etc which we paid for when we returned in 2007 and were made to leave the apartments for being too loud! what do they expect from teenagers in a lively place! however the accomodation is good and for the price we paid for it wasn't bad at all, but they should just learn to accomdate for the younger people whom they don't mind allowing to book up but don't like when u get there! lloret de mar is a great fun cheap holiday.. definately worth trying out! we love it here and plan to return just not to this same accomodation!

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute deal and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It's basic. So fine if you just want a fun holiday and are planning on using it as just somewhere to put your head down. Be warned they will take 100 euros off you as a deposit and give it back to you when you check out! Also the reps don't come to see you at this hotel you have to meet them at the hotel next door, which was useless to us anyway as ours didn't turn up at all!



our first room we were given was nice but the handle fell off the door as we walked in so we were given another room next door which stank off stale fags. For some reason the sheets are left out so you have to put them on the bed yourself which was fine but a bit strange! The rooms are old fashioned and all have big metal roller shutters that you can put down over the windows when you go out, which is good for safety but really heavy to pull up and down and our pulley systems were falling off the walls so each time you used them some more plaster would fall off!



You can use the pool in the next hotel, we didn't because it was surrounded by builders! There is air conditioning in the rooms which is free of charge. The location is good, really close to the beach and town so you can walk anywhere in 10 minutes but also far away enough to not bee too noisy when you want to sleep.



On the whole it was a bit rough but for a cheep holiday it was what I expected. I wouldn't go back there again. If you like a bit of luxury this is not the place for you!
