Majestic Hotel

THIS Hotel is far from Majestic guests are treated more like a burden than a paying customer.Starting at check in, Bar staff very nice but families not welcome in bar area after 9pm as there is music and dancing.(which of course families dont enjoy) roomservice costs extra and god help you for making staff come to your room cold food and wrong orders and attitude with it are par for the course. customer comment cards are available but dont expect any action or contact.Rooms need painting as we had mould on the ceilling and this stay... more

I stayed in the majestic hotel in August , when i booked i could only get one night in the Majestic and had to book a second night in O'Sheas hotel ( it is a complete dive and will never ever ever again stay there or recommend it to anyone ) . The found the reception team in the majestic lovely , right from reservation stage to check out , they would do anything to satisfy the guests. Stayed at Majestic for one night, room was large and comfortable, however to enter the bathroom you had to half open the door (thats as far as it would go as the toilet was in the way, and then step into the gap, close the door, so you could use the toilet. Bathroom needed updating, shower head was missing as was bath plug. view from room was of air conditioning ducts and of a disused swimming pool but if you craned your neck could (just) see the sea!! we stayed here on a sunday night. staff are lovely. bathrooms need updating and a good scrub would,nt go amiss. alot of dust in areas such as the bar. would spend a night there but not as a weekend getaway

I stayed here for a weekend break. I was pleasantly surprised. Reception very helpful. Room was lovely with nice views and coffee making facilities. Bathroom basic but ok. There is no proper hairdryer so i suggest bringing your own if you have long hair. Hotel and dining area slightly dated but attractive. Myself and my new husband stayed here last week. We were married a day, and were attending a convention in the hotel. We arrived at the hotel to checkin haveing booked a standard room. When the Receptionist, Denise heard that we were just married, she gave us a complimentary upgrade - to the Honeymoon Suite! We were thrilled. It was a great start to our married life. All the staff were so friendly, and efficient, we will definitely be recommending it to our friends....and we'll be going back there for our first... more
