I stayed at the Clarion Hotel Limerick with my boyfriend for a weekend break in Limerick. We flew directly from London into Shannon Airport and the hotel is just ten minutes from the airport in a taxi - only €28 - so handy. The hotel is located directly in the centre of Limerick city and looks really impressive as it stands really tall over all the other buildings. The rooms are very comfortable, warm and modern with great views, air con - free WIFI etc. Staff were very friendly, the food was great - sinergie restaurant is perfect for a romantic meal which we had on the second night. Dolans Pub is directly across from the hotel - its great craic! all irish music and food etc. Overall this hotel was fab! perfect location for shopping, sight seeing and going out at night. Will definately go back.
