The Victoria House Hotel

Just back from Ireland paid only 99 euros each for two nights with breakfast and one dinner. Upgraded on arrival to superior room for no charge. Huge bed, jacuzzi bath, power shower, quiet, nice furnishings only minus really was no tea or coffee making facilities. Very friendly staff did not charge for a room had to cancel for others in party who had to return early to UK. Good breakfast. Evening meal was ok considering price we paid. Nice bar in hotel. Victoria House met all our requirements when visiting Killarney: home-like atmosphere, friendly service, and within easy walking distance of the town. But, to top this off, the food exceeded our expectations by offering a combination of continental cuisine and typical Irish fare. We shall return!

My whole experience at Vicoria House was wonderful from the staff to the hospitality, food, and, of course, the lively bar with nightly music. In my opinion, it is perfect for anyone: families, singles or otherwise. It is in a great location, near the national park and lakes, a splendid view of the Kerry Mountains the minute you walk out your door, and just far enough outside the town where you can walk in or out if you want.
