Disappointed
Staying in this hotel I expected first rate accommodation. However my bed smelled and my dressing-gown was filthy. I will never ever be returning
A veritable cornucopia of decadent delights!
It is utterly impossible, without descending into the deepest of purple prose, to give any accurate description of the deliciously decadent Merchant Hotel. Thus, the reader must forgive an overly-florid description of that which almost defies portrayal through the blunt instrument of the English language. Best Hotel in Belfast...Bar none
Quite simply one of the most luxurious hotels anywhere in the British Isles. The rooms are absolutely fantastic. The building itself is awesome and is a credit to the interior decorators and builders who restored the building to days of past glory. Every single member of staff I encountered was highly trained, friendly, courteous and professional. The main dining room and bars are unique and annoying comfortable. Beautiful, but could not sleep
The Merchant Hotel is undoubedly the most beautiful and opulent hotel anywhere in Ireland. The rooms are sumptiously decorated, the Great Room (main restaurant) is splendid looking, and the cocktail bar is not only gorgeous (think French late 1800 boudior) but has the best cocktails anywhere ( and those ice cubes!!!)
