La Mon Hotel

Stayed here for one night + was very impressed. Had the best sleep in a long time as the hotel is so quiet. All staff were lovely - very professional + friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I had breakfast in my room + it was lovely. Everything was spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

A great Hotel in a good location. Good food, rooms and helpful courteous staff. We reccommend a stay here if travelling in N Ireland. It's a great place for weddings.

We attended a wedding here and stayed in the hotel the night of the wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the food was excellent. The bartenders were great and helpful. The front desk was very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Our room was beautiful and had a lovely view of the grounds. The bathroom was spacious and the bathtub was large and comfortable. I was very surprised by how reasonable it all was too. We will definitely do a couple days here next time we are in Northern Ireland.

My wife and I had to travel to Northern Ireland in November for a family funeral and we chose La Mon as it was to be the venue for a lunch after the cremation. As we left the hotel for the funeral in our hire car, it became obvious that we had a flat tyre. The service was being held in Portadown and time was pressing. Seeing our predicament, the hotel owner, Mr Brady, immediately organised for the restaurant manager, Richard, to drive us in his own car to the funeral and return us to the hotel afterwards. Stayed here for a conference in September 2006. An excellent hotel, the staff can not do enough for you. I am on a specialist diet and have to be choosey about my food, the restaurant staff were very understanding and made adjustments to the menu every night for me. The cleanliness of the rooms and corridors is A1. I have stayed at a large number of hotels across the UK and this is by far the best that I have stayed in. There is nothing negative to report about the hotel.

Stayed in La Mon hotel with a friend as a birthday treat and I highly recommend it! The hotel is very clean and cheery, the rooms very spacious and well equipped (although can’t say I liked the green curtains!). The food in the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous… and drink reasonably priced. We used all the facilities including a spa treatment each which we both would highly recommend. I have stopped at the La Mon several times now, and I have never been disappointed. It is set in rolling countryside, about 20 minutes from the centre of Belfast, and ideally situated for most places. The staff are friendly and helpful, thanks to the example set by the charming hospitality of Francis Brady, the owner.
