Park Plaza Belfast Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with a party of disabled athletes attending an event in Belfast.
The hotel staff were very receptive and accommodating of our needs considering that 5 of our party were wheelchair confined. Room rates were reasonable and the hotel was very convenient for the airport (being virtually on the doorstep.)
The rooms were very clean and adequate although a little on the small side i.e. doorways too narrow, beds too close to furniture etc for my daughters wheelchair, requiring her to transfer across floors.
Although consideration given to the fact that our party exceeded the hotels provision for disabled rooms, therefore our room was not classed as being wheelchair accessible.
We took breakfast at the hotel and found this to be very expensive at £12 per head, but satisfying enough. On our second morning, we popped across to the airport for breakfast and this only cost us £5 per head.
Overall this hotel was very accommodating, convenient and well presented although meals were a little pricey. The short trip across the road for meals was well worth it and saved us a few bob.
