Hotel Marsol

I think it´s important to speak as you find, so I´m keen to add this review in contrast to a very damning one I wrote for the hotel we were first allocated on this recent break to Spain.
The Hotel Marsol was instantly welcoming and keen to meet our needs as guests. The staff on reception were understanding and really helpful in securing our relocation from another very disappointing resort.
We had begun to feel that our expectations of a holiday were unreasonable but as soon as we arrived at the Mar Sol we felt that hospitality was a genuine priority.
The restaurant food was generally varied and good to eat. It was not spectacular but perfectly acceptable.
Chamber-maids were really efficient and friendly. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was comfortable.
I would recommend this hotel as value for money. Lloret de mar itself has enough to sustain your interest for a week. In good weather (low season) the beach is lovely. I think in high season it might get a bit rammed.
There is an excellent Mexican that I would like to mention with really good Margaritas and a fun atmosphere.
The Highwayman Rock bar is good for a giggle if you like your heavy rock!
