Just returned from Lotus Apartments, Blanes. These apartments are very basic. I would of been more comfortable camping. The smell from the bathroom was nauseating. The bathroom door did not close. This is classed as self catering but it was just two rings to cook on. No oven or toaster.
We could not find reception and the concierge could not speak or understand any english, luckily I do speak some spanish. Then we had to pay for hire of the sunbeds by the pool. The only good points about this apartment is the location. Near to the beach and restaurants which were excellent. Loved Blanes but not the apartments. Sorry but would not go again.

Where to begin. Oh gosh! I love my holidays away from the country I can’t wait to leave. But for the first time I have never wanted to come back home so fast! Everything that could go wrong went wrong. To cut a long story short, I wouldn’t pay anything over a fiver for this holiday. Room was unclean which also had the pleasure of meeting a retarded decorator. Local cuisine was poor to say the least, I’ve been to a lot of low price holiday but none were like this place. You clean the room yourself and if its not up to standard you have to pay a fine. Not including the 5 euros for *** paper. Oh and the 100 euro deposit when you check in. The travel agent told us before the flight that we didn’t have to pay. If I knew that I would have booked elsewhere. Took ages to find our hotel because we were dropped off in the wrong place. We only found it due to some Spaniard who kept following me around. Creepy. Got to stop. As its bringing back flashbacks. Only thing that kept me going was the English pub round the corner. Viva inglaterra.

This place is very poor out of season, there is no t.v unless you pay 70euros a week. The place was dirty on arrival, there was no kettle, toaster, toilet roll, maid service, mirror, bedding or anything! Don't go here especially if disabled or with young children.
