What a lovely hotel !!! My partner and i booked two weeks before we where due to leave. We could not believe our luck as the bus pulled up to the hotel. This was our first holiday together, we could not of asked for an any better holiday.
The reception staff where fantastic. They always went out of there way to help you.
The rooms where very big and really clean. Maids visited every day.
We went half board and we are glad we did !! the food was lovely, mabey to nice. lol. Lots of selections and was always hot.
Entertainment was fantasic lots of different acts on every night. Also you are only ten minutes away from local pubs.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday then this is the place to go.
We defently recommend it and will defently go back after all my boyfriend proposed on holiday so look out girls you never know.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Olympic palace, part of the Olympic park resort.
When we arrived we were quickly seen to and checked in to our room. First impressions walking through the reception and up to our room were 'wow!’ Its more 5* than 4*
THE ROOM- was gorgeous, everything was very clean and new, twin sinks in the bathroom, and it was more than we could have imagined, shame that it was only where we would sleep at night! It was cleaned daily and fresh towels were put in the bathroom.
There is plenty of pools to choose from and they offer mattresses to make you even more comfy when you’re sunbathing.
The swimming pool had this really cute bar where you can sit in the water and drink, honestly what more can you ask for? Warmer water the pool was freezing!
THE FOOD- I have been half board a couple of times now, the breakfast was lovely, reasonable times and lots to choose from but the evening meals got a little bit predictable each night, they had show cooking but it was pretty much the same each night, however the quality of the food was really good. I don’t think that there was much to offer for younger children.
THE STAFF- The staff were really friendly, the bar staff more so, the only nag would be that they serve the guests with wrist bands on first (obviously all inclusive) even if you were standing at the bar first, at busy times it got a bit frustrating! Reception staff were really helpful, we never had a tour operator, but we were given lots of information from the staff at reception.
THE ENTERTAINMENT- Every evening there was entertainment, dancers, karoke, parrot shows, magic shows. It’s not my kind of thing but it was not thrown in your face, there are plenty of other places to sit and do without having to join in. I do not have children but I did notice that there was plenty offered to families with children to keep them occupied.
THE SPA- We had 2 hours in the spa and it was amazing, a steam room, wet room, sauna, power showers, cold stones, Jacuzzi, and a pool. It was so relaxing
HOLIDAY OVERALL- We had an amazing holiday, the hotel was really special and I have recommended it to so many of my friends, I will be back and I will definitely be staying with hotel Olympic elsewhere in the world.

Just retuned today from the Hotel Olympic Park 27.09.07, me and my partner found this hotel below a 4 * standard. The rooms were basic and the food was to say the least poor, if you're vegetarian its salad and chips all week. The grounds and pools were nice, hotel staff are not vary helpful, the beach is a good 15 min walk and entertainment is standard. We're only 33 and 35 but staying there aged us both 10 yrs!!!!!!

Firstly I would like to say that this is one of the best Hotel's in Lloret. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going there!
The Hotel is lovely and is part of another 3 Hotels in the complex, which also look very fancy. The rooms have everything you need and are cleaned everyday. There are three outdoor pools and one of them is really big with a pool bar.
The only thing I would say about the hotel is that the entertainment at night doesn’t really cater for British people but who cares when you have the resort centre 10mins away which is full of bars and clubs its great. One of the best bars there is definately Rockefellers - you have to go it’s a British bar open till 5am and the music is great!
Lloret itself is great, there is so much to do! The beach isn't sand but if you do want a sandy beach take a short boat trip to the Santa Cristina Beach, it’s beautiful!
I would definately recommend a trip to Barcelona, it only takes about an hour on the train and is a nice journey, it’s an amazing city.
My holiday to Lloret was great would go back again anytime, and would recommend it to anyone!

I have just arrived back from a lovely weeks holiday in Spain, the food was great, a lot to choose from, the rooms were not that spacious so beware if a family of four are going - you get four beds cramped into a tiny room, you have to climb over the beds to get to the wardrobe but they were clean.
The entertainment for kids was only on for two hours it didn’t start until 9 and finished at 11 which is far to late for younger children, some of the entertainment was also very poor, you will see what I mean when you see the clown show!
The staff were very friendly and very quick to serve you at the bar, reception staff very helpful and the cleaners do a great job. Our rep was fantastic too. This hotel has a lot of nationalities, there was not very many British holiday makers.
Resort was very busy a lot of hen and stag parties not recommended for families at night time, so we stayed within the complex. The Euro bar at the back of the complex is recommended. Our family of 9 still enjoyed the holiday and the kids loved all of the swimming.

We stayed in the Olympic Park hotel and had a fantastic time. The food is just brilliant, so much choice and it was all excellent. The staff and barmen are all very friendly and really made the children welcome.
The location was also good, about 15 minutes walk from town and beach, which I thought was great to be slightly away from all the noise of the resort at night. All the pools were excellent and well supervised. It was only a 30/45 min bus ride from the airport. Entertainment was excellent, different show every night (apart from the same parrot show). Kids well entertained during the days and evenings.
My only gripe is that this hotel is near a sports complex and was hosting football competitors. Did get slightly noisy at time with boys / girls running around and slamming doors. Would have felt happier if they put a little more consideration into rooming young families and slightly senior couples. Example… we had four teenage lads next to us, and next to them a retired couple. Can’t blame the lads for wanting a good time, but would have thought the hotel would have considered the fact that we had children. Did speak to other couples who felt the same.
We really enjoyed our holiday here and will definitely come again.

I was very shocked to read the previous reviews, it sounds as if we were staying in a completely different hotel to them, however, I did notice the building work going on, which we were not told about, but it wasn't something to complain about as it seemed not a lot of building was going on anyway as no noise was coming from the site.
Food was what you would expect from a 4*, although by the last night the kids had got fed up with the food so we had to go out.
Facilities were brilliant, the adults enjoyed a good drink every night, whilst the kids spent all their money in the arcade/games-room, then at 11 going on the disco/club.
Swimming pools were very good, clean, however also very cold, but that didn't stop the children.
Staff in general were very nice, to start of with the security guards did not seem to like the children, but that was no fault of their own, however by the end of the holiday they seemed to be on an understanding of one another.
On the whole, very good and we are looking into going back next year.

Hotel was good. Staff very friendly to us Scots, and if you try speak bit of Spanish and not be rude, the staff will go out their way to help.
Maybe should be a 3star. Rooms kept spotless. And food was reasonable.
No building work in June 07. And plenty to do in surrounding areas.

The Olympic Park hotel is part of a resort, it is three hotels together. It is a great distance from the main resort if you want peace and quiet in the evening, but near enough to stroll to the shops.
The beach is clean but the sharp shingle really hurts your feet! The Food was good, run as a buffet and plenty of choice.
The all-inclusive drinks were a bit limited and the wine tasted very cheap. The waiters and staff would give priority to any Spanish guests but were always very polite.
The hotel and rooms are very clean. I would recommend attending the evening entertainment it was of a very high standard; the kids thought it was great and aimed at all nationalities.
There were quite a few charges that we were not expecting when we booked for all inclusive. They charged for the mattress for the sun-beds, extra to park the car in the car park, ice-creams, and the safe in the room.
We also thought that we could use the gym facilities, but it turned out you just got a cheaper rate!! Overall it was a good holiday and I would return.

Just returned from a fab week in the Olympic Park.
Hotel was spotless clean, food good and plentiful, very little noise from the building work opposite (which is just about complete now).
Would recommend this hotel to young and old alike, and would definitely go back, also plenty of entertainment both day and night catering from the very young to the not so young.

How can anyone fault this hotel. We thought it was great.
There are 3 hotels in this complex. Hotel Olympic Park, Olympic Gardens, and Olympic Suites. All share the same pool and entertainment.
There are two main pools. One has a pool bar and two bridges going over to a wee island where you can have beds on it. Please watch though the pool may seem deep however it is not. The other pool is an Olympic size pool for the swimmers out there.
We sat there on the last two days as the sun was there all day.
The sun beds are free however there are cushions available to make it more comfortable but these cost 2 Euros. Some people thought they were free.
The breakfast and dinners were lovely. Great choice of food. Two nights there was theme nights for food. These were Spanish night and Mexican. I was quite afraid about what the food was like due to some reviews but I could not fault the food. The snack bar was great too however they are a bit slow to notice that you are sitting waiting.
The rooms was liveable in. TV which had BBC world on it. The shower didn't seem to have hot water at night but was roasting in the morning. The maids were in everyday to make the beds, clean and give clean towels.
There were extremely early starting at 7am. One thing I can agree with from other reviews is that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything your neighbours are saying.
One other thing that we weren't really pleased with is the check out. We had to be out room for 10am. We decided to ask our rep to keep on the room and she checked at the reception and they said that to keep it on to 6pm we had to pay 45 euro which we thought was rather expensive because in the past I have had to only ever pay 20 Euros to keep the room on.
We decided to do this. We went to the reception on the Friday to keep the room on the they nearly charged us 60 Euros. Our rep went back for us and advised them that the manager told her 45 Euros.
The entertainment was varied they had parrot show, magic show, acrobats etc. We seen bout two or three shows.
The resort itself is too commercialised. I wouldn't go back to the resort again but would recommend the hotel.

On arrival at the hotel Olympic Park a large party of people (mostly couples) stood for quite a while to book in - the first mistake which arose was we were booked in under the name Davies instead of Davison - the receptionist said this was probably a typographical error and not to worry. He never asked us for our passports to be copied but instead copied our travel documents. The first thing to greet us when we arrived at our door on the second floor was the sound of a full scale row in the room next door. A young woman proceeded to run out of her room crying and holding her chest. When she saw the security man at the end of the hallway she run back to her room and was still very upset. After about 10 minutes the row still continued and I rang reception to report this behaviour and still to no avail - the row continued and a child was also crying. This occurred 3 times and the security warned them to be quiet. Eventuallly they did settle down. Shortly afterwards various young people were storming up the corridors yelling and shouting. This behaviour was the norm and continued everynight until the very early hours. On the fourth morning I went to reception to inform them this behaviour was totally unacceptable and was also greeted by other guests at the hotel who were also complaining about the noise on floors 2,3, and 4. Later on in the day we had a meeting with our rep who dealt with the situation very promptly. He requested his Overseer come down to the hotel to take this matter up with the hotel management. and to our delight they had agreed to upgrade us to the Olympic Gardens - which would be a slight grade upwards. It came to light during these dicussions that there was a person named Davies from Scotland and she had been given the documents (including door key) under the name of Davison. I must add that upon arrival at the Olympic Gardens we had no problems with noise and for the first time were able to sleep through-out the night - the room was bigger and it had a couch and armchair. The problem as I see it was that the hotel catered more for young people and I think it is the fault of the management team to allocate rooms to older couples and young children whilst the young students ran wild through-out the hotel. The first week of the holiday was more enjoyable as we had a lovely room/bar (with music playing and couples from Italy, Germany, Spain and United Kingdom danced the night away but the second week - football season - the room was taken over by the 'football fanatics'. The older people were delegated to the 'terrace area - near the pool' where the kiddies disco took place every night and afterwards a man playing an organ and various acts i.e. Flamenco dancing, parrot show, Argentinian dancing and dog show - it didn't seem to work well because the children were intermingling with the dancers.
With regard to the food - there was a great variety but the hotel mainly catered for the foreigners ie Spaniards, Italians and Germans. Some of the meat dishes were cooked while you wait and 9 times out of 10 were undercooked and had to be thrown out. The portk was served in very large portions with the bones attached as was the turkey(large drumsticks) - the fish also had large bones. The food was also cold. The salads were lovely and plenty of variety it just a pity such a lovely hotel was not keeping their catering up to a high standard. There was a lot of disappointed people during the two weeks I stayed at the hotel. The standard of cleanliness was very good and the maids were extremely nice and did a good job at keeping the rooms clean and changed the towles on a daily basis. The plane was delayed (two and a half hours) on our return journey and it was very tiring. As we had to be out of our room by 10 o'clock on Saturday morning we were in for a very tiring day. It was going to cost us £45 to keep the room on to 6 o'clock on Saturday night but once again out Rep from Thomas Cook negotiated with management and had it reduced to £35. We declined as our
money had a substantial drop on the first day of our holiday as whilst on a journey to Barcelona my purse was stolen out of my bag a substantial amount of money was in my purse and it put a really dampner on the start of my holiday. My conclusion with regard to this holiday is that it should be advertised as 'young and lively' - as it was
