A lovely hotel in the heart of...

A lovely hotel in the heart of Inverness by the riverside. We got a lovely little room with the view of the river.
Room service was brilliant, we ordered a few drinks and found although a little slow, the staff had to go the local supermarket to get what we requested.
A little pricey for a long stay but for a romantic weekend it is the best hotel I have stayed in to date.
Breakfast was served with a lot of variety of a cooked or continental breakfast. Cooked to perfection, I cannot fault it.

Fair hotel, awful staff and I considered it overpriced and the dining "experience" was very pretentious.
The hotel seemed to be run for the benefit of the mostly French staff. I stayed in Room 26 and was woken every time someone else in the hotel used their en suite facilities.
There are better independent hotels in Inverness.
