Palladium Palace Ibiza Resort Hotel Reviews
" Fantastic holiday all round. Resort... "
Submitted By: Mr L Olive
Fantastic holiday all round. Resort itself could use a bit of work, but there is so much in the hotel that its only very rare times you will actually want to leave - when you do, go to Murphys.
Food overall was of a very high standard - a new selection every day we were there (all of it tasting different which makes a nice change from most all inclusives). Nice lay out of bars and places to eat - never too far from a refreshment.
Particular thanks to the entertainment team, especially Michael the very funny English guy, Yuta the Aerobics girl and Lola and Sina the kids team. Amazing shows such as Moulin Rouge and Lion King - you can only begin to imagine the amount of work which goes into making them!
Certainly worth the extra price for the extra star - we looked into the 3 star Club Den Bossa (same Fiesta chain) and could see we made the right choice. I would suggest this hotel to anyone - great staff, great entertainment and great food.
Only downside was the total lack of any kind of Thomson reps. There were enough English guests to certainly warrant at least one rep but we didn't see anyone. This, however, is in no way the fault of the hotel - and the staff were only to happy to help out with any questions which Thomson should have been there to answer.
Thanks to everyone at the Palladium Palace for giving us such a wonderful holiday!

Ok - the updated Hotel was absolutely fantastic. We didn't really want or need All Inclusive and would rather have had half board, but it did mean we spent less money on drinks, I guess.
The hotel was superb. Location - not half as good as Es Cana (Cala Nova). We went to see our original hotel and it was in a much nicer part of the island. Having said that, Play d'en Bossa, our particular end, was lovely, unspoiled and quiet. The Rep's Lou and Jemma were absolutely fantastic - more in evidence than many Thomson Reps and ALWAYS so willing to go the extra mile! (Especially when it came to car hire!!!)
Hotel superb - they really DID try to accommodate us - we asked for sea view and high floor and we got both (Room 4210 and 4212)- but we did have one hell of a long walk to the restaurant and with 3 disabled people - this was difficult, BUT you can't have it all ways! Beds are 10.5 wide!!! Nobody can complain about the rooms!!
Superb room, superb view. I would complain that the baths are very small, due to lots of wasted room with the Jacuzzi! The power of the shower/bath is VERY weak, so allow half an hour to fill the bath and if you have long or thick hair - it does take a long time to even get it wet!!
However, staff fantastic, food excellent (a bit of a lack of chicken, turkey or white meat) but a lot of pork, steak, lamb etc. etc. Honestly NOBODY could complain about the food OR drink.
Beach - well we had 3 jelly fish stings during the first week but in fairness it was due to bad weather. Then the sun came out and it was superb.
This is a lovely island - we were so surprised. It is beautiful, full of pine trees and lovely sand and sea wherever you go.
Car hire - beware - it is MUCH cheaper to book before you go . . i.e. £57 for 3 days if booked in advance £120 for 3 days if you book over there!!!
Beware of buses - long walks to catch them but well worth seeing Ibiza town which is easily accessible.
A really lovely holiday - in spite of all the hassle. Really helped by superb Rep's - we will be back but hopefully to Fiesta Cala Nova, as the area around is much prettier. Playa d'en Bossa is rather "tripper"-ish - nevertheless a superb beach and quiet at this time of year. Weather mostly really good.
Hotel staff - excellent - would return there and recommend to others.
Advice: Lovely quiet end of the beach - don't go further up! Too tourist-y!!
Activities: The beach and beach restaurant!
Good for: Beach
