This hotel claims to have undergone refurbishment, it hasn't. The rooms are still a disaster, holes in carpets, tired old small beds with springs coming through, doors unpainted and paint peeling off, showers that don't work properly, no small fridge for milk for the... more

I will never recommend, nor will I stay at this hotel again. It is a dump, a nightmare from hell. reception staff don't care, room was incredibly tiny, hot water and shower didn't work, no fridge, room was grotty and seriously needed major maintenance, TV didn't work,... more

All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar meal was delicious and a good portion. The breakfast was a tasty, huge buffet with something for all tastes. We stayed 2 nights in April and then again 1 night in May. Our room was warm, comfortable, and clean. We... more

Arrived to find the key would not open the door. Maintenance came to the room to open it - the handle fell off! Eventually got into the room to find it looking like it hadn't been decorated since the 70's (it really hadn't). The bathroom was horrendous. The room was... more

Used this hotel as an overnight so that we could visit some of Glasgow’s tourist attractions. The hotel looks very 60's /70's from the outside very unattractive on a rainy day! However the reception, bar and restaurant were all of a more up to date decor. The room was... more

Go at your own risk
I don't know if all the rooms are as horrible, but the room I got initially had stained walls and stained lampshades, it was very dusty, ceiling was peeling and smelled funny. I asked for a different room and that one was the same as the other with additional mold in the bathtub. UGH!!!!!!!!! It was nasty and I can't believe any hotel offers rooms in that condition. I didn't stay. I was fortunate to get the last available room at a Travelodge, both cheaper and immaculately clean.
