We booked for the Katia Apartments in Kassiopi over the internet, as a last minute deal in August 2010. Before booking we read all the good reviews and we were not disappointed when we arrived.
From Day 1 our smiling hosts, Alex and Joanna could not do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. Our package was all-inclusive and the food was so good my wife and I ate there every night; having a different choice of meal every night and at breakfast time too.
Our hotel room and the swimming-pool were very clean.
As a last minute decision to go abroad all we wanted was to do was relax, soak up some sun and recharge our batteries. We have to say this is the most relaxing 2-week holiday we have ever had.
We can not give any higher praise than to say 'when we left we had made two very dear friends; Alex and Joanna'. We can not wait to return; hopefully this year 2011!

Just returned from an 11 night stay at the Katia apartments. We arrived late at night after being dropped by Resort Hopper to walk down an unlit lane to find the place. When we arrived our holiday began. Alex and Joanne gave us a warm welcome . The apartments are clean and the bar area and pool are spotless. The food is brilliant and you dont have to venture out if you want a relaxing holiday . Kassiopi is a bit of a walk but a lovley lively place full of tavernas and bars. Thanks Alex and Joanna at Katia for a brillant holiday to remember .

I always check reviews before I book and I was slightly concerned about the earlier reviews (2005 / 2006) on Katia apartments. However since staying their this year I can totally recommend it if you want a lovely relaxing holiday with fantastic hosts.
Joanna and Alex now run the Katia apartments, bar and restaurant and have the highest of standards. Every room booked through Joanna is inspected by her personally and she always ensures that your apartments are cleaned on a daily basis and your sheets and towels are changed as required through your stay.
Alex mans the bar and restaurant and is always available from early morning until the small hours should you want or need anything. We arrived at about 1am and he was happy to stay up and chat whilst we wound down over a couple of beers.
The pool is clean and there are plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up early to bag a spot. The pebble beach has beautiful turquoise and blue water and it gives you a great view of Albania which is just 14 miles away.
There is a decent shop down the road for water, bread, papers etc and the walk in to Kassiopi is really pleasant. Takes about 10 mins at a nice stroll.
I would definitely recommend staying at Katia apartments with Joanna and Alex and we will go back to see them again soon.

What a fantastic time we had at the Katia beach Joana And Alex are the Best hosts you will find, it was our second visit to the Katia and our seventh to Kassioppi.We will be seeing Jo and Alex again in 2009.

We stayed at the katia apatments at the end of October this year and were very pleasantly surprised. We expected an apartment but in fact it is a private villa surrounded by olive groves. As it was out of season everywhere was very quiet so we didn't experience any noise from the Cactus bar which is right next door. Although the villa has no pool we were informed that we could use any of the pools in the surrounding complexes that were open and there were many of these, although the sea was warm enough to swim in so we didn't actually make use of the pools. The villa itself was perfectly adequate for our needs and unusually for a Greek island the shower had a curtain and we had a kettle and a toaster in the kitchen. Everythng we needed was supplied and we had a very confortable stay. Katia and her husband were very nice and helpful. All in all we had a very relaxing and lovely holiday.

What can we say we have just had 3 weeks in paradise! we had read previous reviews from Katia apps and went with trepidation, but within 2 hours our fears had subsided. We were greeted by Alex and joanna with a warm welcome, the food amazing, the pool immaculate and the pair of them could not do enough for us, myself and my sister have been to many greek islands and we can say heart on hand what a lovely place rooms immaculate cleaned from top tp bottom every day, fresh towels swept moppped even our breakfast pots washed, this couple work tirelessly to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible . you would go a long way to find a service such as this we cannot find one negative comment and only wish the service always with a smile was as good in other places, this place is a must. Avlaki beach is brill the harbour stunning and great places to eat real greece jo ,alex we wish you well you deserve nothing but the best your hard work made our hols all our love Pearl, Carole and tommy boy xxxx

The Katia apartments are basic and we spent the first two nights without aircon, which was not very nice!! The pool is tiny but then there are only six apartments. There is a camp site to the rear and the pool to the front and then the road.
Tha actual resort itself I didn't like at all. Its basically a main road, steep hills and then the sea with a shingle beach. I didn't find the local people very friendly incomparison to Zante and Kos. You really need a car if you want to get about as everyone hires mopeds and the roads do not have any pavements. Rather dangerous really.
I wouldn't recommend it for young families. There are not very many places to eat either.
The only good point was the Kosmar Rep, Alexis, who was very professional and mature.

Just returned from two weeks at the KATIA apartments which were excellent. The apartments were clean and comfortable and the situation was superb being in a quiet spot just a casual 20 min walk from Kassiopi centre. The beach is just two minutes through the apartment grounds and very quiet. Alex and Joanna went out of their way to make out stay perfect. As this was the first time in GREECE for our friends we are pleased to say that a good impression was made and we all hope to return in August.

Just had a realy nice stay at the Katia appartments. Alex and Joanne made us welcome and took care of our every need. The pool was realy nice and just a two minute walk through the gardens and down a small path brings you to a fabulouse beach. Thecentre of Kassiopi is a short walk from the Katia,so it is very peaceful, we stayed in a couple of nights and our host cooked us a lovely meal. The bar is very pleasant and well stocked.We are going back to these Appartments in September. I can well recomend them.

Horrible appartments, dirty and rude staff, also they are at the bottom of a hill 20 min walk from Kassiopi.
