Simpsons Hotel

We booked into this hotel on chance as it was one of the few we spotted on arriving in Aberdeen by car late in the evening. It was more expensive (at £95 a night rack rate including breakfast) than i would usually select if i had time to do an internet search but was quite satisfied with our choice. Excellent place to stay if you are a business traveller. Reception staff are helpful and firendly, making you very welcome. Rooms are a little old fashioned in decor but who cares! lovely toiletries and plenty of extra bedding. Some front facing rooms can be noisy with traffic, so always ask for a room at the back. Restaurant is fabulous with an ever changing menu and the service is really good. Although towards the end of the year there seems to be a lack of breakfast staff and the service had suffered. Have just returned from a long weekend at the Simpsons hotel in Aberdeen - had read some fantastic reviews about this hotel so decided to book. The hotel is linked to the most impressive restaurant and bar I have seen. Stunning. Saw pictures of this as part of reviews we read so expected hotel rooms to match up. Alas, it was not to be! I stayed here while my husband was in hospital in Aberdeen and I was delighted with the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was so helpful, my room was beautifully decorated and the food in the restaurant was superb. I would recommend this individual hotel to anyone.

Arrived around 11 am and was offered full Scottish hopitality on a very cold wet day! Parking is excellent, food was superb and I felt really special during my stay. All my requests for extra comfort were met and staff very helpful. I would strongly recommend this hotel to business users and holiday-makers alike. I have stayed there before and will certainly use it again on my next trip to Aberdeen. Simpsons have "Got it right!!"

My husband and I stayed at the Simpson at the end of March 2004. The rooms were beautiful and the staff were very helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner in their restaurant. Their traditional Scottish breakfast was far more food than we ever eat here but it was delicious and dinner was just as good. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aberdeen!

Family Hotel, with matching hospitality. The rooms are stylishly decorated, making for a memorable stay !! Check out the web site. The quality of food in the restaurant is outstanding, this even continues through the night with the room service food for those who have had a couple too drink !! The hotel is situation in a nice area of Aberdeen, with some outstanding architecture. One of the nicest, friendliest hotel's i have visited on my travels.

My husband and I were staying in Aberdeen last month, we did not stay at this hotel however, which is just as well because if the rooms were as nasty as the bar staff were when meeting with freinds, it would have ruined our entire stay.

This is an excellent hotel conveniently situated just off Anderson Drive which makes for easy access. The rooms are very comfortable with extremely smart bathrooms although the layout of the hotel can make finding your way back after an evening in the bar, something of a challenge. I rarely eat in hotels that I stay in but in Simpsons, I am happy to eat in - enough said!
