Smell of damp hits you as you walk up stairs, lift wasnt working properly. room stank of stale cigarette smoke. noise unbarable from late evening till early hours of the morning. what ever you do dont leave any thing valuable in your room aparently between the time i left and house keepimg arrived my watch and ring ahd dissapeared. will never ever set foot in a travel lodge again !

The travel lodge hotel was the cheapest available, so perhaps you get what you pay for. On arrival the smell of cigarette smoke and maybe dampness was quite off putting but hey, it was thankfully just for one night. The room was clean but also a smokey smell lingered here ( non smoking room). The night was noisy with drunks waking me up at about 3 in the morning, possibly stumbling out of the 'gentlemans club' yes THAT kind, to my dismay OPPOSITE THE HOTEL! made me question if the hotel was suitable for families?. i would never stay here again, i hated the area and it was noisy. The food however was surprisingly good which gives my rating a whole 3 stars!
i hope this review is useful and for a little more money you can find somewhere quite a bit nicer.

The car park is extremely hard to find with very limited space. The family room was large and dirty. The windows were smothered with dried food but when we approached the reception a full refund was given for the nights stay. I found this hotel very noisy with all the traffic due to this being in the centre of Aberdeen. Over all if the room was clean it would have been ok apart from the noise.

on arrival all seemed ok. Once we entered our room it was a different story. There were 3 adults satying in the room but we were only given one towel, there was mould growing up the bathroom walls and windows in the main room, the floor looked like it needed a good hoover. The floor also included vomit stains from the previous guest that had not be cleaned up properly. There was also an extremely black mark on the wall which suggested at somepoint a picture may have hung there. i know travelodges were basic but this place is beyond a joke.
Never going back
