The Beaufort Park Hotel reviews

Stayed here with my wife for two nights. We ate in the restaurant for both evening meals and found the food to be delicious and amazing value for money! The staff working here are a credit to the hotel - plenty of welcoming smiles and information. I chatted to one young... more

More Than I Expected
I stayed at the hotel for the whole of January on Business,I found the staff very helpful and friendly from reception to bar staff,The room i had was very clean and tidy even if the shower was a bit temperamental. The Standard of food was very good with prompt service. All in all i was made very welcome and i shall be using the hotel again.
OK for the price
My family and I arranged a surprise 60th birthday party for my dad on 20th December 2008. It was for family and friends and quite a few of the party guests had accomodation booked. We were orginally told on booking that there were no more double rooms available and we would have to have twin rooms, however on check in all the party guests were given double rooms. I must say that I have never stayed in such a cold hotel, the corridors and bedrooms were freezing and this was noted by other party guests. The heater in the bedroom and... more
Manager from hell
stayed here last weekend on a national holidays weekend away checked into the hotel and was told our gala xmas dinner was being served at 6pm. That gave us 90 mins to get ready after travelling from east yorkshire unbelievable!! Down at 6 for the evening meal processed food and rushed out for the next sitting! 7pm waiting in the bar till 9pm when the entertainment started grabbing seats when we could after all finding seats for 48 people is a tall order when there are other guests and 2 more bus loads in an area designed for... more
fab weekend away spoilt by attitude of manager
i organised a works christmas 'do' through a local coach company for a 'turkey and tinsel' weekend at this hotel. Everything was going well and on the evening there was a singer on who was really good. Things then took a turn for the worse when the manager decided that he was closing the bar at 11.00pm!! This in itself was bad enough, but there was also two private functions on in the hotel with bars that continued to serve up to 12.30am. As residents, we tried to buy drinks at these bars and was told that we were not allowed as these were... more
bit gutted
i had my wedding in this hotel and it was brilliant everything was how i wanted it.but unfortunally the one of the bar staff spoke to me and my guests in a relly bad maner using foul language.but the hotel and all the other staff were nice and everything eas clean and modern.
Ok but nothing of note
A typical hotel/travel tavern/conference centre location. The rooms were ok, food standard pub fare and the staff relatively friendly. I wouldn't trush back there again but no huge complaints, just very average.
Giant travel lodge
This hotel is like a huge travel lodge- and very average. Not all the TV channels worked - apparently it depends where your room is. But it was clean if a little worn in places. Food just about OK. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful.
Bog standard modern hotel, but better than average
The rooms in this hotel are like the rooms in a million other hotels round the world, which is not a bad thing in all honesty, as long as that's what you're expecting. They were clean which is most important. I was very annoyed to find that I'd been given a smoking room, despite having booked and been confirmed a non-smoking room. However, after mentioning this to reception (who were polite and professional), I was given another room on the second night. The down side of this was that the smell of cigarettes came through the air... more
Nice place
Stayed at the Beaufort park hotel for one night last month for a meeting in Mold. Nice setting. Very friendly receptionists - welcoming smiles & full of advice & guidance. Room was very hot though, not air con. Thankfuly the room was on the back of the hotel so I could leave the window open without it getting too noisy. Hotel was quiet apart from what seemed to be a Saga holiday group staying. Bar was quiet which was fine by me. Food was OK - nothing more than ping cuisine, but adequate for a stopover hotel.
Wonderful experience
I recently stayed at the Beaufort Park Hotel with a student group through EF tours. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and safe. The meals were wonderful, with many different options each time. The workers were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
