Anno Santo Hotel

Stayed in the Anno Santa recently for the Galway race week - (the smell in our room would have suggested that the room had not been used since the previous year race week 2005 !!) musty / stale smell - not suitable for sleeping in at all (especially with a child with asthma) – beds felt damp etc. window would not even open for us – we were moved to another room on the 2nd night – which was slightly better but still a musty smell didn’t feel as damp as the window did open and we could leave it open during the night at 80 euro per... more

This has got to be the worst place i've ever stayed in. First of all we felt the staff were very rude. They wouldnt put the heating on, the rooms were tiny and filthy. i will not be recommending this hotel to any of my friends because i feel it would be cruel to put them through that sort of pain

Superb. Friendly staff, cosy bar, fine food, easy parking and a glorious location. The finest small hotel I have ever stayed at.

You could not wish to stay at a more friendly and welcoming hotel. The hosts, Gerry and Joanna, go to the end of the world to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We have stayed annually since 1997 and feel part of the family! We have recoomended this hotel to other friends who return with similar stories. Highly recommended.
