so very sad....

where do I start...arrived mid afternoon wanted something to eat asked at the Glasshouse "sorry only sandwiches as there are no chefs around" this is 13.30 on a Saturday afternoon. Then manager spoke to me saying that the Head chef had just arrived we could order lunch, we really should not have bothered,,only ones in the restrauant waited 25 minutes for a salad, sandwiches and chips! stayed in room 12a lovely room but wedding party in hall 50yards away..could not sleep all night. Not because of the loud music and shouting but the bed was one of the worst beds I have ever slept in. Do not stay at this hotel, unless you like wedding parties, soft beds and no cooked food during the day!

We were there for 2 nights and in that time there were 5 weddings so if you dont like weddings stay away. nearly all the spar bathes did not work and the rooms were small could do with a good clean and spruce up. The food was excellent but very pricey \\\The drinks were very expensive. Wootton bassett itself is only a few mins down the road and is a nice little village, with some nice pubs

Day started with no room booked finally found it booked in my wifes names but could not advise me of due to DATA protection act . what a joke. Staff were generally OK but management approach was that anything that was wrong was not thier fault very poor managament control... more
