The Sant Jordi hotel is the hotel from hell. The hotel itself is clean and hygienic, all except for the pool area. We first booked in as all inclusive guests at 8:15am; but were told that we could not receive drinks until 12 and food until 4pm. Upon arrival we were impressed with the hotels furnishings; however we were not that impressed with the hotels staff. The receptionist had a care-less attitude problem and the bar staff were even worse. The bar staff DO NOT LIKE CHILDREN; my son was once screamed at when asking for a Pepsi, by the barman because he believed that as all inclusive guests, the English drink too much. Your all inclusive is a hotdog or burger at a choice of three times a day, however you can have a cheese and ham toastie at a charge of 1€. Please do ask for cream on your coffee as refusal may not offend but the money you'll be charged for it will, even though you are all inclusive.
This hotel is family run, the owner comes running to ensure that the parasols are taken down, even though its 100degrees. Any kind of ball or inflatable was to be taken out of the pool, probably because the pool was so small that you could not see the water with just a few guests in it. For those who burn easily, please do not swim in a t-shirt as you will be screamed at.
During our stay, the electricity in our room went off. When reporting to reception, i was told that nothing could be done because the receptionist was too busy...i was then sent away because i had no shoes on my feet, least of my problems really seen as i had no lights to find any.
And so, to conclude; a man broke a glass and the barman swept it into the pool and lots of people cut their feet the day after...
to enjoy your holiday please do no go to this hotel

Our first impression of Santa Susana was a good one. The area seemed clean and fairly quiet, caters mainly for families so perhaps not a good choice for us singletons. The hotel is well kept, fresh towels every other day, and the choice of food in the restaurant was excellent. Free drinks are provided during breakfast but not at dinner. We bought a bottle of water from the hotel reception to take into the restaurant but were told this was not allowed. We argued that it was bought on the premises but were told we had to buy the (overpriced) drinks from the restaurant itself!! When we complained, the reception staff became very aggressive and we found their attitude totally unprofessional. Other drawbacks: we had to buy our own soap (!), one of the electric sockets didn't work, the door to the balcony was faulty, the balcony view wasn't good and the pool is very small and overcrowded.
The resort of Santa Susana is OK, the sand on the beach quite rough as is the sea, hence the lifeguards, so families with young children swimming take note. If you're looking forward to a quiet day on the beach then forget it. You are regularly pestered by the vast array of sellers plying their trade (everything from mangos to massages). We would recommend the boat trip (Dofi) to the neighbouring resorts, particularly Tossa de Mar, which represents everything Santa Susana is not. A train ticket to Barcelona can also be bought for around 6 euros from Santa Susana. The resort entertainment at night caters mainly for families, although there are a couple of nightclubs for the younger ones. Anyone over the age of 25 will struggle to find anything to do - unless you enjoy cheesy club singers or karaoke in the british bars!

dont be fooled by there website, there is no view of the sea and the balcony is small
we upgraded to a suite, that was a laugh, there idea of a suite and mine were very different, around the pool there was 12 loungers, for 5 storey hotel, I have to say very poor, the worst hotel we ever stayed in, be warned.

Me and my family stopped in hotel Sant Jordi this year and I must say for the price we paid and for a 3 star hotel, it was great.
It was located in the perfect spot, it has burger king built in underneath, near plenty of shops, right next door to a supermarket and a 5 minute walk to the beach.
But the pool isn’t too good it was very small.

we couldn't complain about about the hotel as far as the reception staff, cleaning staff, and, restaurant staff are concerned, the hotel is very clean with the reception staff being really friendly and efficient. our room was cleaned ever day and the food for us was excellent again with friendly staff at hand.
However the pool was very small (we being two families one of five and one of four decided to not let that spoil our hols and make use of the beach) and then we encountered the dreaded bar staff. They didn't speak very good English (neither do i speak Spanish) which is o.k if you have a smile to accompany the issues, they were extremely busy and worked very long hours (as both above mentioned families do to enable us our well deserved holiday abroad) they were very stressed and the children mainly were bearing the brunt of their frustration , they ignore you when you stand at the bar being the next to be served to enable them to serve the paying guest first. As the week progressed the bar staff did make more of an effort to be a little nicer to both families (we don't know if that was after our conversation with our rep or not) but unfortunately in my mind the damage had been done. A real shame as i would never recommend this hotel just because of 3 bar staff members.
