Hotel Lagotel

I want to say thanks to all the reps who made us really welcome. The hotel is really clean & the food is lovely. The facilities are great. thanks first choice for a great 2 weeks. All the entertainment was fantastic, some quite funny. This hotel is great for families! Please just don’t read this, go for yourself!

My family and I have just returned from a week at the Lagotel. The hotel receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The rest of the staff were very good too, particularly the children’s entertainment team who worked extremely hard making the holiday enjoyable for the kids.
The hotel was kept very clean including all the outside facilities. There are two pools, both of which were well maintained. Each had a bar serving food and drinks and very clean toilets.
Each bedroom has twin beds, a bed settee and a good-sized bathroom. These are cleaned every day except for Sunday. There is satellite TV and air conditioning. There is also a safe available in the room for approx 13 Euros per week.
The food was buffet style with lots of choices each morning and evening. Freshly roasted meats were served along with many other choices to suit everyone’s taste. The puddings in an evening were mouth-watering. The meal times are only for a 2-hour period so you have to get your skates on. Water is not available during the morning but can be bought in the evening.
There is a small supermarket in the hotel for essentials and a Spar supermarket about 10 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel runs a shuttle bus to the beach on a regular basis throughout the day except Saturdays. There is also a bus that takes you to Inca or Palma, which stops right outside the hotel.
The hotel has very good disabled facilities including ramps for wheelchairs etc.
If there is a down side it is slightly out of the way, particularly if you are less mobile. It is a good 15 minute walk into Playa de Muro but the peace and quiet more than make up for this.
The music finishes at 12 o’clock and the bar closes at 1 o’clock so that everyone gets a good night’s sleep. All in all a very good holiday and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

What can we say about the Lagotel? Well the hotel is actually very good. The rooms are a reasonable size with air con / sat TV. The entertainment is of a good standard and there is a load for the kids to do. The Hotel lay on a coach to ferry guests to & from the beach (which take less than 5 minutes).
The hotel has loads of facilities, including two very large pools, which prevents overcrowding. The food was also very good, although on a negative side the manager of the restaurant was rude and only cracked a smile when you left him a large tip. As for the resort, the beach was great, lovely golden sand and the sea was warm. To summarise, I would recommend this hotel for a good family holiday, the kids will love it (especially the go-carts), just don’t ask the restaurant manager for a larger dining table.

Good facilities and activities for kids, very polite and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Apartments were spacious and clean. The entertainment team are great and really get everyone involved. There’s a newly built salt water swimming pool, which is really good and doesn’t get too crowded. The restaurant serves some decent food. The hotel is family orientated and my family and I would definitely use it again on returning to Alcudia, Majorca.

We have just returned from the Lagotel and I can say we will return, everything was fantastic from the hotel to the entertainment team to the reps, the hotel staff were very pleasant and everyone combined made our stay worthwhile. There were 10 people in our party 5 adults & 5 kids all different ages and everyone had such a good time, we stayed on half board basis and the meals were brilliant and very filling.....look out for the carvery every night, the entertainment was great if you don’t want to you don’t have to leave the complex as there is so much to do...our kids had swimming lessons with swim kids everyone was lovely....say thanks to Pasquali, Fabian & Patricia (entertainment team) Kim swim instructor and Keith, Adrian, Siobhan and Claire (reps) and all the other reps whose names you cant always remember (but the kids do) for making our stay truly enjoyable.........

I cannot praise this hotel enough; from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we were so impressed with the quality of the hotel, service and friendly staff. The hotel itself & all the rooms were immaculate, the maid service brilliant. The food was a little too good and we came back with a larger waistline.
The children’s reps were so good at their jobs & really seemed to enjoy themselves. The pools were fantastic, and the beach only 10 minutes away. We were so pleased we have already booked for next year.
