Premier Apartments Birmingham

I stayed with my boyfriend from the 22nd till the 25th of June. I was really pleased with the sapce of the apartment. The apartment was also in a great location everything is within walking distance. The whole place is lovely and new. Our only gripe was our washing machine didnt spin! Which wasnt a major problem just meant we had to wring everything out ourselfs and hand it to dry on the towel rail. Also my boyfriend bought his playstation but it wouldn't connect to the TV. Stayed here for a weekend in July and really enjoyed it. Having read the other reviews everything said is correct but because it is such good value for money these are all minor complaints. It was very hot when we were there & it is noisy if you open the windows but we took our own fan and there was a small fan in the apartment. Our main gripe was the bedroom - the bed only just fit in so anyone sleeping on the far side from the door had to climb over to get out. Our apartment was lovely! Got a cheap deal through late rooms for just over £60 (on a Saturday night too!). Plenty of space for 2 of you, and super close to the city centre! The small things that other people have mentioned are absolutely trivial, yes, the doors are fire doors and don't stay open, but its hardly the be all and end all! For the price it is an excellent choice. The size of the apartment and the furnishing were well above our expectation. Excellent location also, close to the Bullring complex for shopping and chinatown for restaurants. Professionalism could be improved; not as proficient as would expect from a well-run hotel, and not as cosy as a self-run B&B. My girlfriend and i stayed here recently whilst in Birmingham for a gig at the academy and found the location perfect for this and also for some excellent shopping ! The apartments themselves were very nice and clean and i found the staff very helpfull . My only minor gripe is that although they have staff on site after 8pm fridays and saturdays there isn't anyone there the rest of the week so if there are any issues either with sercurity or others you've got to wait for someone to arrive . We visted the Premier Apartments based on these reviews. The apartments were fine but I would make the following observations on our apartment. 1. The apartment was really hot without any heating on at all - would imagine it to be stifling in the summer. Spoke to reception who were fully aware of this problem as they must have had numerous comments regarding it. 2. All internal doors were on rising butt hinges so were therefore self closing. What a fab night had by all...! These are one of the best ideas that i have come across. The rooms are spacious and clean, and tastefully decorated, beats the mundane hotel rooms by far. The service was great - had a smiley chap who made me feel very welcome. Although there isnt anywhere in the building where you can get food, like the other reviews say, there are plenty of places you can grab a bite to eat (highly recommend Milano in the Arcadian mmm)! I was highly impressed with Premier Apartments, the room was very spacious and the facilities were spotless and complete. It is ideally located for the shops and markets in the city centre, and not far from the main New Street railway station. The reception staff were extremely helpful. This is a hotel without dining facilities, but there are plenty of good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Based on the postive reviews i read on tripadviser i decided to go this hotel. Stayed 3 nights in the weekend at the apartment. It was really nice, i felt right at home. Everythings' spacious and clean. Comfy beds. Safe present. Great location, practically next to many shops in the city centre. Nice big windows, which all open inwards. A bit noisy (its in the centre), but close the windows and everything ok !! No negative issues really. Friendly staff Would go there again !
