Lagoon Centre Apartments

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the lagoon center.first time we have been to alcudia and overall enjoyed it.staff were friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception.The accomodation was of good size and we had a lovely view from our balcony. We thought the menu in the bar could have had a wider choice and the entertainment coud have been better but overall it was good value for money

Just had a great holiday at lagoon centre.Great place for families.Rooms very good size with everything you need,maid service was great no complaints.Overall the staff at lagoon centre were fantastic,polite and very helpful.Food was basic burgers chips ,pizza,good food at decent price.The bar was good with just enough entertainment.Great for the kids .Also barstaff were very good great with the kids.The lagoon centre also has a small play area for small children so great for mums and dads as theres tables and chairs by the play area.The pool was big enough for the apartments well looked after clean and had water games in the afternoon.There are parts of the pool area that are in shade some of the day ,plenty of sunbeds even when we were there in high season and the place was full.So overall a brilliant holiday would go back again.Would recommend the peachpit for meals and entertainment if you have small children...................

Went as a young couple just looking for sun and relaxation, all I would advise on this is to be aware that the hotel and resort are very young family orientated, adult entertainment does not really start until midnight. The hotel was extremely quiet and we often wondered where everybody was, there was very very little entertainment provided and the rep seemed to spend very little time at the hotel and when we did see her she was nursing a hangover. Food variation in the hotel was not up to much, and in the resort most places tend to sell the same stuff. The whole resort was very british, too many british pubs and cafes for our liking - had to go into the main town in order to experience any sense of spanish tradition. Las Vegas showbar does great cocktails, reasonably priced. We tried to cook for ourselves a bit to save money, there are a couple of small supermarkets nearby, but if you want substantial meals you will need to look a bit further afield. Cleaning service was good and the hotel staff seemed to be fairly friendly. If you want hair braiding or dodgy sunglasses there are quite a number of annoying sellers on the streets in belle vue, don't look interested or you will never get rid of them! The beach was very accessible and great for relaxing when the pool was too cold, its bearable but dont expect a warm dip! Overall the holiday was good, probably wouldnt return to the resort again as its sort of a one trip place - the world is bigger than Alcudia!

The entertainment was none existent, the rooms were barely cleaned. Staff at reception very moody and unhelpful. Bar staff very nice, but really poor sevice overall in hotel. Loved Alcudia though it was very expensive, beautiful beach would definetly go again. Cleaning service was very bad. Over all it is a lovely resort for families the beach being the best feature. Lots of shops most selling the same , but still seeling some nice things

After reading the reviews of this hotel we were dreading going, but when we got there we thought it looked nice, the pool wasnt shaded as we arrived early afternoon,the rooms were clean and big. But the next day the pool was in the shade until 12pm and then because of the trees it was in in shade again by 5pm and it was freezing. The cleaners only change your sheets once a week unless you complain, and then they dont like changing them. Towels were changed 3 times a week. As for entertainment it was awful. The entertainer was drunk all the time. She couldnt be bothered day or night, what entertainment she did do was aimed towards the adults, and the entertainment in the night was ok but lasted all of 20 minutes. But right opposite the lagoon is the Viva Sunrise hotel absolutly fabulous hotel, couldnt do enough for adults or children entertainment wise. So we spent most of our holiday over there so it didnt really bother us all we had a lovely holiday thanks to the guys in Viva . Wouldnt recommend the lagoon centre to anyone good job its changing over next year!

Having just arrived back from Alcudia It was not what I expected We found as a family there was not a lot to do the night life entertainment was poor although we found that cheers was excellent with alan the DJ and Shine which was just around the corner from the hotel. The entertainment in the hotel was rubbish Gillian the entertainer was rubbish, on our last night there was a big bust up with her and another family about her being very drunk the night before and allowing the children to do what they wanted with the music equipment etc. then telling them they were not allowed the next night, this was giving the children mixed vibes more so the younger ones, she also did not talk to the children like a childrens entertainer should. SEND HER HOME. thats what she wants so she kept telling us and other families.

we have just come back from a family hoilday this was our first holiday abroad, we staye at the lagoon centre the staff were lovely and freindly and speak very good english. it is a 10 min walk from the beach and 5 min from te shops and bars yummy yums is very good for food and well worth the money the new inn and woodywood peackers are also very good for food. we have all ahd a lovely time and would defantly go back again.

Got back on Saturday after spending a lovely 2 weeks in Lagoon Centre Apts. Their good, clean, basic accomodation with minimal but sufficent air conditioning.
The entertainer, Gillian was great fun in the days and evenings but struggled as she was on her own, so if you want bigger entertainment then you should go else where.
The staff are friendly, especially the bar staff Bamba and Alvera! They will all be missed as they made our holiday fab.
Gutted to be back to british weather now and temperatures reached 40'c at some points.
Bars, shops, restaurants all a 10 min walk away and no noise can be heard at all.
Close the beach which always has plenty of room coz its about 10 miles long!
Pool is clean , but watch out because there are some people who go down at 9 in the morning and grab their benches.
The only thing we were disappointed in was our first choice rep - hardly seen and arrogant.. but didnt let this spoil our holiday... would love to go back!

Just returned from 2 weeks at the Lagoon Center Apartments in Alcudia. Overall we had a fab holiday. There were 17 of us at one point with ages ranging from 2 to 70 so covering quite a lot. The apartments are great, really good size and clean. The maids come in 5 days and do the basics which was fine with us. All staff in the place were very friendly and fab with the kids. Reception very efficient and friendly. The negative side of things are the air con was dreadful especially in the bedroom so as we were there in July it was quite a struggle at times with the heat. The pool is quite shaded and so if you are looking for a pool with sunshine all day this would not be a good one for you. There are a lot of trees around the pool so the shaded areas move around the pool all day which also makes the pool very cold even in the middle of the day. We actually went across to the Viva Sunrise because of this which was just a brilliant place, pool area was incredible especially the childrens pool best I have ever seen. The other negative I have to say is the bridges over the canal. If you have small children in buggies as we did you either have to have a stong male to help carry it over or walk a bit extra to the road bridge to walk over which at times was a pain!! The entertainment in the hotel was not good. We were told the girl doing it was new and really if it was not for the external shows then it would have been a joke! The rep Becky was fab, best we have ever had!!! Alcudia itself was a bit of a disappointment there just did not seem to be a lot going on. Cheers was brill for family entertainment whicl having your dinner and then later at night it is the place to go for a disco etc. Also a fab cocktail bar across from there Waikiki...... Beach was fab although the Lagoon Centre was a good 10 mins walk which with 2 small kids and many blow up things was a bit of a struggle at times.!! Overall we had a fab holiday although I would not rush back to Alcudia or the Lagoon Centre.
