We went to Lagos Park and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant is excellent and the rooms are spotless and kept clean throughout your stay. The pool is very very clean and has a lovely clean bar around the pool with an excellent menu. The evening entertainment is very good as well as pool side entertainment if desired. We enjoyed it so much we went back 3 weeks later!!!

I have stayed at the Lago Park Hotel on many occasions and have enjoyed every visit without exception.
On one visit to Mallorca I made the mistake of booking in to a different hotel to save a small amount of cash. Within a few days I moved to Lago Park even though I had paid for the
other hotel.
Check in at Lago Park is simple and speedy, I have always found the rooms to be very
comfortable and clean, and there is always plenty of hot water. The room contains all you would need, cooking utensils, plates, dishes, pots and pans, a kettle, and toaster and if you need a microwave or a safe key you only need to ask reception.
The only thing I can find wrong with the kitchen is that the units could do with updating, but they are clean and functional.
The beds in the apartment are comfortable and the pillows are soft, extra blankets are provided, though rarely have I used them, there is a big wardrobe and plenty of places to put other items. All apartments have air conditioning.
Cleanliness all over the hotel is exceptional, even the public toilets within the hotel are always spotless with a good supply of paper!
The food in the restaurant is very good indeed, it is wholesome and flavorsome and there is a very good selection, there is also a selection of hot and cold drinks available.
Within the bar area there are pay as you go internet computers, but if you wish to use your own laptop or smartphone etc, there is FREE Wi-Fi that you can use 24/7. There is also a large screen TV in this area and there is another separate TV area near to
reception.
Outside there are two crystal clear pools one in Lago Park 1 and other in Lago Park 2 which is next door and more than enough sun beds there is also a bar where you can find hot and cold food and drinks. I have found that the prices for these items in both bar areas very reasonable.
The hotel is very close to the beautiful beach of Playa De Muro literally within 4 minutes walk.
There also lot of shops and restaurants nearby. A large supermarket is only a 5 minute drive away, or a 15 minute walk.
There is usually some entertainment on in the evenings, and there is also a kids entertainer if you want a few quiet hours during the day.
The staff are welcoming and very accommodating, they go out of their way to help you, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
So if you are Visiting Mallorca and you want a relaxing place to stay I can fully
recommend Lago Park in Playa De Muro near to Alcudia. The location is perfect 3-4 minutes to the beach, all the staff are super friendly and efficient, the rooms are well appointed, clean, and well equipped, the food is good and you won’t find a better hotel for the price. Go and see for yourself Lago Park Hotel is the best kept secret in Mallorca!
I can NOT recommend the horse and carriage rides under any circumstances.

Family of 4 children 20 and 15 and wse went from the 10th to 17th August 2009 . The resourt was very basic, next to a very noisy and unconsiderate hotel whose owner had a Harley Davidson motor bike that he took great pleasure in leaving running and revved up at night and early in the morning. The bin men also came at 12 midnight and made an awful racket. There was next to no entertainment and what there was was poor. We spent a week there and saw only two other families there not sure why. The pool was small and dingy and not there was not enough sunbeds. The hotel is never a 3 star definitely 2.
The positives: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach is the best on the island and was only 5 mins wal if that. We walked into the town (about 25 mins steady walk each way) each night. Only a couple of descent resturants Willys, Topatoto and the Pizza resturant up the town. The Pizza Hut and KFC are good and food is fresh.
we would not go again but I recognise that I got a bit less than I paid for.
Transfere was good we used Resorthopper well worth a try.

We just came back and it was absolutely brilliant.
For what you pay, the appartments are really spacious, nice looking and well equiped. There is a nice pool and it is in a very good location about 3 minutes from a beautiful beach. The staff is also very friendly and the appartments are cleaned every 2 days.
Defenitely worth going!

Alcudia is a beautiful place. Not to lively and not to lazy. Don't have any
complaints about the location.
Lago Park was nice enough, especially for what we paid.
The only complaint I could make is that the people who worked there were
distant and some unfriendly. We got our key and told where to go and that
was it for the week we stayed there for. We didn't even realise there was
an internet cafe and a restaurant in the building until the day we were leaving!
Also! I almost forgot and I have no idea how I could of!
There was a man who played the piano and attempted to sing, every night!
From like 6pm to midnight or something, same songs every night.
It got fairly annoying and not entertaining at all.
It drove us away from the apartment if anything.

- Advice: Loved it. Would go back many times.
- Activities: We loved the bar next to the apartment, Brichas or something? Best cocktails ive ever tasted.

"We have been to this hotel 3 times now and every time, without exception, we’ve been 100% satisfied. All the reception staff are super friendly and helpful, we have only stayed in the one bedroomed apartments, so cannot comment on the studios, except to say we have been told that they are a bit too small. So we recommend anyone booking at Lago Park should go for the one bedroomed option if there is more than 2 of you. The apartment itself was cleaned 3 times a week, by cleaners that are very friendly, there is free wifi in the bar area and the drinks there are a reasonable price. We can’t comment too much on the entertainment, as most nights we would go to our favourite bar restaurant, (Nuevo Rancho), directly across the main road, by the roundabout with the giant fish hook, as the owners and staff have become very good friends, so we recommend that you call in there and have some first class food, just tell them Steve and Rosie sent you!! Just one last point about the horse carriages, that is VERY IMPORTANT, I'd also like to let you know of the nightmare we had with one the horse and carriage drivers outside our hotel in Playa de Muro, Alcudia. One of the drivers had 2 dogs with him every day, and they were clearly his, and he cuddled them and played with them. One of them got run over on the busy road, I saw it from our 3rd floor balconey and as he made no move to help it, I ran down and by that time someone else had moved the dog. I found it, it had a broken leg and was bleeding heavily, the owner said he had called the vet, and it would be here in an hour, I argued with him, watched by a group of disgusted tourists, and I even asked for him to give me the dog and I would take it to the vets at no cost to him, but he refused. He poured a bucket of cold water over the dog, which screamed, so I got my hotel manager to tell him if he did not take it to the vets I would call the police. After stating in Spanish, that it was "uneconmical to take it to the vets", he put it back in the carraige and set off, I asked my husband to get in the car and follow him, my husband caught the heartless cretin about to throw the dog in the canal to save himself 20€ in vet fees, my husband stopped him, and then told him to go to the vets, 2 min drive away, he went past 2 vets, and then tied the dog up outside a hardware store in Peurto Alcudia. My husband went to the store and a woman came out and claimed she was a vet!!! and that there was no problem, She sold nails and screws for gods sake. My husband told her he had worked for the RSPCA, and that the dog needed a vet as it had a broken leg and possibly internal injuries, the carriage man and 3 of his mates returned and were threatened my husband. I was still in Playa de Muro, and when the police came the other carriage drivers ganged up on me and a girl who worked at the hotel, and told the police the dog was a stray and was not even injured, if this was the case why did he refuse to give me the dog to take to the vets? I asked the police to take me the 2 min drive to where my husband was being threatened, they refused and told me to tell him to call the police in the Port!!! What use they were is anybody's guess, and they said "Its only a dog". Yes but it was in pain and the tourists were disgusted by the blokes behaviour, but only after I waded in did some of them come to my aid when the other carriage drivers were shouting at me and threatening the hotel staff. If the bloke had just picked up the dog and gone when it had first happened, we would have been none the wiser, but he waited 3/4 hour, and only went after I threatened to call the police. We still do not know what happened to the dog, as the woman ran off and my husband couldn't follow, or call the police in time. The carriage drivers are mostly Gypsy's, whilst I'm not racist against them, I do question their practises, the horses are outside the Lago Park hotel for 14+ hours a day, in all weather, with no food in that time, only a little water, they have no shade apart from a couple of trees, all for the sake of tourists having a carriage ride for 30 mins, its inhumane, and if they treat their dogs this way, how do they treat their horses when they are injured? They even have their horses shod by the farrier outside the hotel, not wanting to miss any tourists who may want to have a ride in their carriage. The carriage driver in question had no licence plate on his carriage until a few days later, the number being PM 199. The bloke is easily recognied, he's 25 - 30 years old, always has a little black dog with him, (until that gets knocked down, as it's never on a lead), he also has a small Mallorcan flag on the side of his carraige. We would urge ALL tourist not to use the horse and carriages, not only for the fact that the drivers/operators have little or no regard for their horses or dogs, or any other livestock for that matter, but because it's all in the name of the mighty Euro, let's not forget the fact that its highly likely that if you were invovled in an accident whist being carried in one of these contraptions, your insurance company are not likely to pay out and you would be left with an almighty medical bill. "
Top Tip:
"Give the English bars a wide birth, and call in at the Nuevo Rancho Restaurant Bar and say hello to Antonio and all the staff there. And don't use the horse and carriages, by doing so you are advocating animal cruelty."

Warning!!! Do not stay here
The worst holiday I ever had by far!! Thank goodness I was only here for 1 week or I would have had nothing left. People stole from our apartment four times in the one week. The reception staff wanted nothing to do with it.
My holiday was spent in a police station filling in papers. Do not stay here!!!!!

We stayed in the Lago Park II apartments the first week in June 2007 (4 adults aged 35, 44, 50 & 74).
The apartments themselves were very basic with the furniture, kitchen appliances etc being quite old but they were clean and secure.
The pool area at Lago Park II was quiet enough with a clean pool and poolside bar. You could also use the pool at Lago Park I which is the main block across a pathway but this was a bit busier.
We liked the pool at Lago Park II as it did not have any of the usual reps trying to get you to play games - just pick your lounger and enjoy the sun.
Our rooms faced onto Lago Park I and was above a bar which could get quite noisy at night (with a man and his keyboard playing the same songs every night!!) but everything stops as midnight. Also this side of the block did not get any sun on the balcony any time during the day.
I would recommend asking for a pool view or staying in Lago Park I. The apartments were 2 minutes walk from the beach, surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars and ideal if you want to be centrally located in Playa de Muro.
The taxi rank is also 2 minutes walk away with a taxi into Alcudia centre costing around 6 or 7 Euros if you want something a bit more livelily.

Lago Park is fantastic we have been there 6 times both with our children 13 & 16 and on our own, every time we have been back we have met up with people we have seen there before. Yes it’s basic but very clean and friendly.
If you have more than 2 people make sure you book an 1 bedroom apt or you will not have any room, the other beds in a 1 bedroom apartment are only settees but I have slept on them and they are ok.
Maria the manager will do everything she can to make your holiday for you and the staff
Mari and Rosemary (reception) Roly and Isabel (bar) along with the others are all very friendly and helpful.
The pool is not huge but very well maintained and you can usually get a sun bed.
Entertainment is on most nights some of the shows are very good it just depends what you like.
If you want an easygoing holiday with friendly staff this is the place. If people go looking for problems they will always have something to moan about.
Lago is close to the beach, shops and many places to eat. Alcudia old town is a bus or taxi ride away, taxi is better, and the market is a good morning out, Alcudia port is lovely the sea bus is a good way to get to it.
So to sum up, basic but fantastic, a holiday is what you make it so Enjoy!

A family 2 adults 2 teenagers 14 & 12 yrs old. This is the last time that we go with First Choice (never again) for a 3 star holiday. Lago Park I & II, they are not a pretty looking site, very small hotels, the pools are tiny with a very small number of sun beds, and they have few amenities. The room Lago Park II was grotty also, we had 2 beds, also one pull out sofa.
Cleaning was at a minimum, kitchen facilities were 2 rings that’s it and a kettle. We complained to the hotels lady Director, give her some credit, she moved us very quickly to Lago Park I. This was more modern same facilities, better maids here, ok if you want a cheap and nasty break. Paying the full dollar with First Choice this is not a good deal, believe me. We were offered far cheaper rates by the management £600. On the plus side, the location is good with beach only couple of minutes away and there are plenty of shops and restaurants.
Can recommend Smiths go up to main road traffic lights go over main drag down side street on the left. The Swan go to main road turn right up to next lights turn left. Cheers bar turn right over the bridge ok 4 the kids (don’t eat there its rubbish. Burger King in same street. A lot of hotels in Alcudia are set back quite a long way from the beach and main strip. You are made very welcome in them all (least they have entertainment, lol) Also you could not fault the effort of the staff particularly the entertainer Sebastian, who was a one man band and worked tirelessly every day.
The barmen Roli and Raj were ok and the service was slow and £2 for Budweiser etc a bit strongly priced. However this hotel is never a 3 star, definitely a 2 star. If you are looking to go away and can get a cheap deal and don’t mind staying in a basic but well run hotel, then this is your place. If you are looking for a bit more, steer clear and steer clear of First Choice.

I have just come back from these apartments and have nothing but praise for them.
These apartments are ideally situated for everyone. The whole resort being flat is a bonus! The apartment we stayed in was very clean and the air conditioning brilliant. Apartments wasn't ready when we arrived but was told that we would have to wait 15 minutes. When we got into the Apartment the floor was still drying. Cleaners came in 3 times in 1 week and we had the bed linen changed.
We staying in Lago Park 2 which is next door to Lago Park 1. The 2 being linked by a small shopping mall which has a supermarket, shoe shop, a place to book excursions and hire cars, perfume shop, small off license and a tattooist! Everything nearby and handy.
There is a restaurant which is attached to the complex called Briasa. Good Food and atmosphere here. Also fairly quite to eat as only advertised outside as a cafe. You could get anything you liked to eat. The cocktails were lovely too!
Beach was clean and was combed most morning. Sun beds and Parasol not that expensive on the beach either. 7 Euros for whole day for 2 sun beds and parasol.

Lago Park apts in September/October is the best hotel you will find in the price range.Just returned from a 9 day hol at Lago Park and can truly say it was one of the best ever. I travel with my 91 year old mum, and from the start, we were looked after, welcomed and felt truly at home. Rooms were immaculate,....yes the apts need a little updating, but they were very clean. We have previously stayed in Puerto Pollensa and Cala D'or on several occasions, but this surpassed them all. Local bus service superb, so this central location is perfect for surrounding aresa. Definitely be coming back. 9/10
